Questions

Where do these builds come from?

From Silver+ ranked games played this patch, and the pages refresh as new games come in. Each page shows how many games sit behind each number. Recent games come from the highest ranks the pick gets played at, and they're labeled that way.

Why is a champion still collecting?

Build counts start over with every patch. A lane needs 300 games with a finished item before its full build shows up, and until then the page shows last patch's build where there is one, with that patch number on it.

Is the 1st item the one people buy first?

Not always. Items are listed in the order they sit in the inventory (a finished item takes the slot its first component was in), so compare win rates within a slot. Late slots come from longer games.
