How the score works
We read back every tier list this site has published since 2013 and pulled the God Tier, Tier 1 and Tier 2 picks out of all five lanes. God Tier counts three points, Tier 1 two, Tier 2 one. A champion's meta score is what they earned against what they'd have earned sitting in God Tier the whole time, so 100 means God Tier every single patch and roughly 66 means Tier 1 throughout.
That rewards staying good over spiking once, on purpose. A champion who was broken for two patches and forgettable for ten years scores badly here, which is the honest answer: they're a terrible champion to build a season around.
One caveat. We published nothing between patch 14.9 in May 2024 and patch 26.13 in July 2026, and every bar marks that stretch in red rather than quietly closing the gap.
