Support Tier List: Best Supports in Patch 26.19
God Tier
Good in almost every game
Support
Few supports can cover for a mistake their carry already made. Thresh can, and he heads the role. He starts fights from most of a screen away, and the lantern pulls his marksman out of the ones that went wrong. He asks more of the player than the two beside him. Nothing he brings falls off at any point in the game.
One hook decides a lane, and Blitzcrank gets to keep throwing it until one lands. He climbs out of Tier 1 and into God Tier support. He's all or nothing, of course. A missed hook leaves him standing next to two enemy champions with nothing left to do but walk back.
Leona moves up from the head of Tier 1. She picks when the fight starts. One engage puts her on the enemy carry with a stun ready, and her ultimate catches whoever was standing behind them. Range is her problem: a support who pokes her low before she can go in keeps her out of the lane entirely.
Tier 1
Strong, safe picks
Support
Morgana is the hardest answer support has to a hook or a stun. Black Shield [E] makes her carry immune to the one thing the other bot lane built its plan around, and her own binding holds a target long enough for anyone to follow up. Safe in lane, cheap to learn. She heads Tier 1 now. Her own catch rides on one slow skillshot. Against a lane that dodges it, she's a shield with legs.
Tier 2
Solid in the right hands
Tier 3
Needs the right game

Tier 4
Hard to win with now
Tap a champion for its numbers and the reason it sits there. Gold dot: has a full write-up.
