When a PC won't start League
Four common blockers
No DirectX 11 graphics
Since patch 25.21 the Play button greys out without feature level 11_0. Macs need Metal. Find yours in dxdiag.
Old Windows 10
Build 19041+ covers the minimum; older builds get VAN 9004. Recommended is Windows 11, and Riot supports retail editions only.
TPM 2.0 off
Windows 11 without it stops at VAN 9001. Riot checks it itself, so a registry bypass won't get you in.
An ARM processor
Riot doesn't support ARM. That rules out Snapdragon Windows laptops, however new.
Vanguard's security checks
Vanguard can ask for four Windows features before a game starts. The tray icon says which one is missing.
