How This List Is Built

For each division we take the champions with the highest pick rate that also hold a win rate above 50 percent, capped at six, and those become the God Tier bans. Champions that overflow past six go into Good Bans. Meh Bans are the champions with high ban rates but win rates under 50 percent, the ones people ban out of frustration rather than necessity. That last group is the useful one: if a champion is in Meh Bans for your division, you are usually better off banning something else and just playing against them.

Who should I ban in Patch 26.14?

At Diamond+ the first bans are Locke, Thresh, Leona. In Bronze and Iron they are Leona, Yorick, Mordekaiser. The full list for every division is above, and it is genuinely different at each rank.

Why is the best ban different at each rank?

Champions that punish mistakes scale with how many mistakes get made. A snowballing lane bully is far more dangerous in Bronze than at Diamond+, where it gets respected and warded against. Conversely, champions that need precise execution are close to harmless in low elo and terrifying in high elo.

What does Meh Bans mean?

Champions with a high ban rate but a win rate under 50 percent. People ban them because they are annoying, not because they are strong. Banning one of these is usually a wasted ban.

Is this the same as the tier list?

No. The tier list ranks champions by how strong they are to play. This ranks champions by how much you gain from removing them from the game, which also depends on how often they are picked and at what rank.
