Instructions and Caveats:
- Champions in BOLD I will talk about shortly
- Champions UNDERLINED may be over/undervalued, but aren't/haven't played enough for me to make a better judgement.
- Within each tier the champions are strongest from left to right, but within a tier each champion's strength is relatively close. This is especially true for Tiers 2 and 3 where these champions are ALL highly playable and player dependent on how strong they are in-game.
- This tier list takes data from ALL players; however, since the majority of players fall in the first three tiers, the majority of data points will come from there.
- Win Rates are important in analyzing each champion's strength, but are not the end-all criteria for any champion's position.
- The creator of this list is diamond, so there may be some personal bias towards higher tier play on certain champions.
Champion Explanations
- Akali [Tier 1 Top] - After the latest buff/fix to Akali in the form of actually reducing her jump distance, Akali is now a much smoother assassin and can once again chain her double Q combos with ease top lane. This combined with the fact that more and more melee champions are returning to top lane means that she can proc some early Q debuffs that she normally wouldn't against most ranged champions.
- Blitzcrank [God Tier Support] - The buffs from a few patches ago combined with the subsequent nerfing of tanky junglers means that he's no longer a handicap on the team for hooking in unkillable CC monsters. Now they're just regular CC monsters. That being said, the same CC monsters ensure death for anybody that's unlucky enough to get hooked into a 1v5 situation, Blitzcrank's forte.
- Ekko [Tier 1 Top/Tier 2 Mid] - Initial results from Ekko appear that he's indeed very strong. His success top lane does seem to be much higher than it is mid lane though, likely a simple result of the general mid-lane population being slightly stronger than average at the moment due to the prevalence of Luden's Echo and its strong synergy with ranged champions.
- Evelynn [Tier 1 Jungle] - Evelynn jungle is actually quite powerful right now with her tank build. She deals a strong mix of both physical and magical damage that's difficult to itemize against, and ever since they buffed her in 5.6 and 5.7, she's been continuously on the rise.
- Gragas [Tier 2 Jungle] - With the latest nerfs this patch to his hitbox on body slam, he's much more in line with other junglers at the moment.
- Irelia [God Tier Top] - Irelia's back on top lately with her insanely balanced set of skills. As you all know, her end-game results in an insanely strong tank with strong true damage to take down both squishies and tanky champions alike.
- Jarvan IV [Tier 1 Top] - With the latest changes to black cleaver, Jarvan synergizes extremely well. Although there are better top laners at the moment, he's definitely strong at the moment and worth looking into if you like playing him.
- Jinx [God Tier ADC] - After the latest nerfs to Jinx, she's definitely slightly weaker than before. However, she's not significantly weaker in a way that would drop her very far, at least from initial results.
- Karma [Tier 1 Mid] - Although I know most people are really focused on Karma jungle, since there's no data for that available for that right now and I don't play much Karma jungle, I can't opine or objectively decide on that. Meanwhile, Karma mid got a strong boost from the latest changes, and allows her to be extremely "spammy" late game during sustained skirmishes. This makes her more of a continuous damage dealer rather than a Morgana-esque type of cooldown-reliant champion.
- Kayle [Tier 1 Top] - A somewhat overlooked champion most of the time, Kayle's starting to fall back into her own pace as a strong tank shredder, kiter, and overall lane bully against the multitude of melee champions returning to the rift.
- Lulu [Tier 1 Support] - Lulu's latest changes made a huge impact on her ability to support, especially early to mid-game. I'd say she's definitely extremely strong at the moment, and she's finally able to do what we always wanted out of her kit early game.
- Ryze [Tier 1 Top/ Tier 2 Mid] - The increase in Ryze's passive duration gives him a much larger time span to do damage early to mid game. This coupled with the base increases on his Q damage have brought him past the average mid laner into borderline OP territory. We'll keep a lookout to see if he deserves higher, but he's definitely very strong at the moment.
- Sejuani [God Tier Jungle] - Since Sejuani's nerf hasn't gone through yet, it's hard to tell how much of an impact it'll have on her overall strength. At the moment however, she's being placed as #1 more of a result of moving Nunu down.
- Soraka [Tier 1 Support] - As a direct result of the changes to the yellow gold generation line and Ardent Censer, Soraka's suddenly become very strong this patch.
- Taric [Tier 1 Support] - After Taric's latest buff, I think that he actually hasn't changed all that much. However, with his play rate nearly doubling with a steady win rate output, I'd say he's still quite good where he is. I'm perfectly fine with Riot giving him further buffs though.
- Xerath [Tier 1 Mid] - I believe the glitches that were plaguing him were fixed by now, and he's definitely back to where he should be. Luden's Echo has been a great boon to him, just like for other ranged spellcasters. Now, even if he doesn't get a direct hit on enemy champions, he can still get off some poke on them using the Luden proc.

Explanation Nidalee god tier jungler?
ReplyDeleteJinx, God Tier Top? I believe you meant adc XD
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with the Tier 2 on Soraka? She gotten significantly stronger this patch with the ancient coin buffs, and also has a higher popularity. She's by far the biggest benefactor of the buffs to the Coin line specifically, as she's one of the few champions that has really prefers building it over Spellthief's/Relic Shield. You should consider putting her in at least Tier 1.
ReplyDeleteI may have...
ReplyDelete^this please.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, I was planning on moving her up, but Lulu distracted me
ReplyDeleteWtf is that cover. Nerds be fapping to that rn...
ReplyDeleteEven worse, it doesn't make any sense. She's got some real problems, like a huge neck or her chest is way bigger on her left. Her body is weird if you pay attention.
ReplyDeleteHer early game map movement is extremely powerful and allows her to be one of the few junglers that can safely invade without blowing flash if enemies converge.
ReplyDeleteWith nerfs on Cinderhulk champions, it's more difficult for them to come back after a weak start. This combined with the return of heavy poke champions from Luden's Echo means she synergizes very well in many team comps.
Her late game can still be a bit lacking, but her early to mid game is insanely strong at the moment.
Gnar Tier 2?
ReplyDeleteYour tier list needs to be re-updated.
If he isn't god tier, he is Tier 1 at best.
Gnar is actually not that good right now. He's sporting a bottom 10 win rate at platinum+ and still a sub 50% if you include all Elos.
ReplyDeleteFinally lucky to check back an hour later.<3
ReplyDeletety senpai ssj
SSJ will you add in Jungle Karma? She is def a niche pick who is viable in the current meta now that cinderhulk junglers are weaker. She'd be mid tier 3 most likely.
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty I didn't think Yasuo would go up to tier 2, especially not mid
ReplyDeleteNerf ekko
ReplyDeleteSo I play a lot of Poppy and Jax. I did recently re-add Riven to my champ pool. Based off these champs. Who would you guys suggest for me to play for top if I look to add another champ?
ReplyDeleteRenekton, Rumble, and J4?
ReplyDeleteWasn't really paying attention but now that you mention it, I agree.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it, Shaco has higher play rate and win rate than Sejuani but you place her as God Tier and him as Tier 1. Why so? I am truly curious.
ReplyDeleteIts more then likley because Shaco is picked a lot less then Sej overall and most people that would pic Shaco would know how to play him and be able to use his kit to full potential which is terrifying.
ReplyDeletetl;dr Shaco is picked less so he wouldn't have as many losses as sej.
explain in sort of the role please like last patch... so i dont have to read whole... ;p
ReplyDeleteAllah bout dat Ashe man she is so much fun
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Urgod continues to rise... a small range buff would put the mighty crabgod over the top
This may not be as relevant but I think it's worth mentioning that she kills the crab INSANELY fast, especially in the early game. Arguably the fastest crap-killer in the game. 80 extra gold combined with free map vision is always nice.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, if you can't snow ball your lanes as Shaco him, and his team mates fall off due to poor team fighting. However with Sejuani, one good ultimate can honestly win a game. Also, don't underestimate the strength of tier-1's, that are still VERY powerful. Another thing, this is all opinion based so don't take all these results to heart.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, Renekton, Sion, Swain, and Irelia. Your champion pool should include more tankier, teamfighting champion.
ReplyDeleteGangplank gameplay update coming soon :o
ReplyDeleteAlso could someone give me an idea of what eve's tank build is ?
i dont want urgod to rise :(
ReplyDeletewhy cant he stay down theree
I KNOW RIGHT !!
ReplyDeleteHow does a hitbox nerf push gragas to Tier 2? He's still OP asf
ReplyDeleteI see you like to play the carry top laners, so adding Darius/Irelia/Renekton are good champs to pick up.
ReplyDeleteAlso if they're not banned I might suggest Hecarim. Like Sejuani his ult can change a TF.
gragas wasn't really good in low elo because unlike sejuani his ult was too easy to screw.
ReplyDeleteHe's much better in 5v5 but in soloq he's not really a powerhouse unless you know how to play him(aka balanced)
lcs build is skirmisher+warrior to full tank
ReplyDeletemy personal build is skirmisher+warrior-sorc shoes-frozen hearth-banshee-2 another items
where did you get all this data?
ReplyDeletepoppy and jax are hypercarries while riven is a heavy snowball champ who does well as long as she is ahead.
ReplyDeletei would add an early game bully like darius, renekton, jarvan or maybe hecarim
Why isn't Ekko jungle in there? He is not top tier for sure, but he definetely a viable and fun jungler. He better than mosy of Tier 3 junglers.
ReplyDeleteShaco has a higher play rate and win rate only in platinum+, anywhere lower and his win rate takes a massive nose-dive.
ReplyDeleteHe's also not that good lategame, so where Sejuani has comeback potential, Shaco requires strong game knowledge to snowball and retain the lead.
why is azir so tier 3 mid and tier 4 top
ReplyDeleteWhy is Azir tier 4 top and tier 3 mid? I've began to play him a lot and i see him in LCS etc played a lot and i think he should be at least tier 1 mid.
ReplyDeleteHe has T1 if not god tier power when mastered but this list is for people who are bronze-gold. Most people in those divisions can't reach his full potential.
ReplyDeleteI played that a couple times over the weekend! It is so much fun and feels a lot like nid jungle to me. His sustain in the jungle because of his W really caught me off guard
ReplyDeleteLCS build is for highly coordinated teams, don't try it in soloqueue. If you're playing AD Evelynn, build some more damage (BotRK, Triforce, Wit's End) and end the game before you have to build tank... or sell everything for a full Mpen build at that point. Evelynn isn't a good tank. Playing full AD Eve I've snowballed almost every game. I played one where all my lanes were winning and I was pretty useless apart from splitpushing.
ReplyDeleteThe way I see it, as Evelynn you either snowball, or become a pretty bad tank. Or you can play full AP Eve, but it's the hardest Evelynn build to play.
And Azir also needs coordination, that's why he's a beast in the LCS but underwhelming in soloqueue.
ReplyDeleteI would say its because the really hihg skillcap :3 ...
ReplyDeleteyou shouldn't play champions because you see them in lcs,pro players power is on a whole different level than an average player and they tend to play the strongest champion regardless of difficult.
ReplyDeleteAlso keep in mind they are 5 people in vocal chat coordinating for everything but in soloq you're alone or with a friend so you can't have the same level of coordination you could have in a 5 people team so azit is pointless for his way too high difficult for low elo and requires of follow up after a good ult.
Master him if you want and if you have fun on playing him but keep in mind that if you can carry you out of low elo with him you could have done this with an easier champ aswell and faster
i agree, definitely viable jungler, should be added at least in tier 3
ReplyDeleteWas Jinx really that broken before? I mean, they nerfed her twice and she still is god tier
ReplyDeleteRiot should nerf her AoE 750 ranged autoattack, so she doesnt have an extremely strong waveclear and teamfight potential
Happy to see nautilus jungle sitting in T2. He is my new secret OP like sej was pre cinderhulk when everyone was fighting to get j4 and vi.
ReplyDeleteIf you are interested in trying it build cinderhulk, mobi boots (consider trading in late game) and rush righteous glory. Upgrade to T2 green trinket ASAP, spam wards and get picks.i have dragged quite a few teams back from the brink doing that. His early ganking is actually surprisingly good to with hook, AA stun and slow. In late game you can decide whether to help with back line dives(melee heavy team and someone like thresh support) or you can form a brick wall in front of your carries (preferably another true tank on the team to engage and a mage mid, and ap supp to go with your adc).
TLDR: Naut jungle is versatile and strong during all phases of the game.
I don't think she needs more nerfs. She is where riot wants her now: Weak laning, late game hyper carry
ReplyDeleteeven in low elo there are situations when you can't dive without being cced to death,i allegated the lcs build just for let him know how pros builds him, obviously in low elo focus on damage but going 100% damage as a jungler is not really convenient in every elo unless you're versus really bad people
ReplyDeleteGoing to back SSJ up on this one. I love gnar but I hate him in soloQ. It can be hard to get 5 people to fight together in solo sometimes let alone asking them to let you charge your rage bar a bit.
ReplyDeleteYes she was super broken before. She got 2.0 attackspeed like 15 minutes into the game with her Q and at a higher range compared to most lowrange adcs..
ReplyDeleteI mean after levels 3 then you couldn't really kill her unless she screwed up royaly which is true for evey adcs anyways so yes I think it's great that she gets nerfed. This is probably not the end of the nerfs coming her way but it's atleast something.
Karma works much better with the AP ratio increase on W in 1v1 situations as her burst mid-late has better damage. Most players are complaining that the lack of damage on Mantra+E is a nerf but it's not relevant to her burst, even as a tf tool she should be using Mantra+Q to optimize damage output as a mage, Mantra+E offers much more protection so it's still very viable but as she is a poke based champion she should still be using Mantra+Q. Her passive late game is now exceptionally strong when harassing the enemy team with when she has max CDR that extra second she now has is awesome if she can net a Mantra+Q on 3+ enemies. Her only true nerf from her changes is her wave clear with Q and Mantra+E, but with Q being her primary harass tool for relatively low mana cost still makes her a great lane bully.
ReplyDeleteThe mobility weakness is still their & the changes to cinderhulk reduced his lategame damage by a hugh amount. This combined with the fact that their are a lot of mage junglers on the rise & their is still a big underpowered group for the carry junglers their are not many situational that Nautilus jungler would get more impact than his other friends. Buff devourer & he will rise.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't need nerfs. Right now she's just placed their because of the meta as an utility lategame scaling adc.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Ekko jungle? I tried it and it worked surprisingly well, I could almost do a full clear without backing (I had to leave blue till I came back, but I got the rest). Ganks were pretty easy actually, with the stun if you can get it off and the multiple slows. I think it definitely deserves to be tier two at least.
ReplyDeletehis ganks arent anything special and rely on skillshots to land, heavily reliant on blue and because hes reliant on items hes usually short of gold due to jungling being what it is. He isnt very good in the jungle, doesnt mean he cant do work though.
ReplyDeleteTwo questions why is jinx not rushing the IE first in your scenario and you do realise that she only gets the increased atk spd on the first rocket shot so actually she has to be close range to build up that atk spd
ReplyDeleteLate game he is a utility machine. It is not about damage. There is a decent chance in soloQ that you will be the only tank on the team because a lot of people only play carries. Also getting mobility boots makes you the fastest person on the map. As stated ward a lot, ping people and righteous glory to them people love to follow nautilus to get picks because they know they are getting the kill and if b you can land that hook or use your ult, enemies can't escape.
ReplyDeleteShe should be rushing IE first in every scenario, IE-boots-shiv/pid.
ReplyDeleteBut you are always in the minigun form unless you are super afraid it does way more singletarget dps.
Ryze is broken again. God Tier Top already. 6 Secs reducing cooldowns, using his E while Desperate power is on, Lots of damage. Pentakill 5x1 Easy.
ReplyDeleteHi all,
ReplyDeleteI'm really in a deep crisis with the Jungler choice, I hate riot I was very happy to play my Vi and win and have fun...
Is like 2 month, maybe more, that I'm jumping between different jungler and still i didn't find my main (in season 5 of course).
I try Sejuani and Amumu honestly i'm not able to play them well, I really don't like to have a super tank champions that what i have to do is only stun and block enemies...
Any suggestion? i don't have Nidalee and Nunu...
I check rengar but is really weak early game sob
You think so? for me is a giant blue minion very easy to kill :)
ReplyDeleteEve is making a comeback right now. Lots of different ways to build her to based on how you like to play her. You could also give J4, Kha, or panth. I prefer the mega tanks myself but hose are my go to champs for a little more damage
ReplyDeleteYes, I think no one can 1v1 him early game anymore with his passive on.
ReplyDeleteI have to check Eve... I try once again Panth but with the tanky jungler that season 5 required with the spear I'm cutting the nails of Sejuani
ReplyDeleteI had similar problems, try to play Evelynn :) She's my main right now, and i'm in love with her.
ReplyDeleteRek'sai is also nice imo.
Think about kit u'd like to have, and search for jugler with skills u like most :) I did that way, and after 5 champs i found Eve.
I have to play it... if i can go mid :)
ReplyDeleteSSJ, I agree with the fact that the last nerf on cinderhulk have seen a ressurgence of "warrior oriented" aka junglers like Nidalee, Shaco, Warwick or Rek'sai and you put Evelynn high in the Tier 1 too (that was a bit of a surprise for me actually). But I'm even more surprised not to see Vi in this high Tier 1 warrior block. She is arguably in the rise right now as one of the best warrior jungler. She is more and more banned and appears regularly over Shaco, Warwick, Voli or Eve in other serious tier list over the web (Pants, Rvz, Pryor..).
ReplyDeleteHow do you explain her positioning in Tier 2 since 5.7-9 ?
Thresh honestly deserves higher. For me, Janna and Thresh should be the only ones in God Tier Support. Although Nautilus, Leona and Blitzcrank are quite good, they don't have as much peel as them and they have better engages (including Janna, not saying this because I main her but I made a couple of builds for her which gives her both Engage and Disengage). Sona is way to squishy to be there, being too squishy means you won't be doing much laning phase also meaning the ADC won't have a good laning phase since it's technically a 2vs1. Sona should be Tier 1/2 but Naut/Leo/Bc should definitely be Tier 1 c:
ReplyDeleteThis is strange, I don't see her in ranked and her win rate didn't really moove since the cinderhulk nerf and her slight buffs. And she isn't the best champ to "build tank" considering her kit and the actual meta (Sej, Amumu, Nunu..). I would really like to know what could make her a better choice than a Vi or a Rek'Sai for example ? I really liked to play her ages ago.
ReplyDeleteCould you do a report on Rengar? Why has he risen top? What's so good about the kitty?
ReplyDeleteI agree, I just think if you want a tank Evelynn is not the champion you should be playing at all. Even if you want the early game presence, you can play Lee Sin or Elise. I think ou should add at least one more damage item, other than warrior. Kinda like what SSJ said about Lee Sin, one damage item isn't enough in soloqueue.
ReplyDeleteAlso why is TF tier one? AND WHY DOESNT RITO BUFF VEIGAR
ReplyDeleteVi actually deals relatively little damage throughout the game, as reflected by her average damage dealt, which surprisingly comes in near the bottom of the list for junglers. In perspective, she deals less than "pure" tank type champions like Maokai and Malphite.
ReplyDeleteIt's because of this that I don't really see her as a "warrior" oriented jungler but rather more of a utility tank. She still synergizes very well certain specific champions like Yasuo, but otherwise I see no reason to emphasize her strength as her current win rate sits at roughly 49% throughout all divisions.
Other tier lists consider pick rate and ban rate indicators of champion strength. I personally don't see them that way, but rather as "confirmations of champion strength" or "indication that more data is required". I've never seen the arguments "everyone else is playing her" or "everyone else thinks she's strong" to be particularly convincing.
I agree with Thresh, he is way too low in this list. But he remains the hardest supp to play and thus can't be god tier. However, I see him at least Tier 1 along Morgana.
ReplyDeleteBut concerning Janna and Sona...the first is a lot more "tricky" than the second and they are in the same boat considering squishiness. But because you are a "JannaMain" what I'm gonna say doesn't apply to you (and every main supp over plat+). Janna's force is in her ult for team fights, engage and disengage...and a lot of players mess it up. During the laning phase, she doesn't bring anything more valuable than a sustaining Sona or a Tankier Leo/Naut. Yes she has CC (but Leo and Naut has too) but that's it. She is squishy, bring 0 sustain and 0 damage (if we compare to Leo all-in potential and Sona's poke). And blitzcrank has crazy damages and kill potential. Bc, Naut, Sona and Leona are just more consistent supp for soloQ under Gold.
Time to buff Zyra, for Jeovah's sake! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks for this quick explanation SSJ, always appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, i just want your opinion on lucian as an adc. He's now the last one in tier 2 so almost tier 3. I feel like he's being picked up again and feels really strong. Why is he just tier 2 and not a higher tier?
ReplyDeleteWell, op mentioned Vi, so I didn't. She is in my current pool. I think Eve has a massive impact in low elo because people don't buy pinks. There are also multiple viable build paths with her which is great because you have no idea what kind of random assembly of champs you will get in soloQ. Personally I like vi more, was just giving OP some other options
ReplyDeleteOh, and as for rek, I think she is very strong but I don't personally like her. I plan for 35 minute games in soloQ and at that point she has become a tank with just 1 knock up. The map presence and overall early game power are great, just not one of my personal favorites.
ReplyDeleteto my personal experience warrior+sorc shoes is enough, also count that frozen hearth gives you 20 cdr and mana for spam so we can consider it as a pseudo damaging item.
ReplyDeleteThe meta is starting to shift a bit I think. Panth falls off a bit late but has some of the easiest ganks imaginable early. Warrior and tiamet and you can just annihilate people on ganks.
ReplyDeleteveigar is doing fine in high elo :D
ReplyDeletebecause blitzcrank grab someone and win everything, thresh wins nothing if he grabs someone undertower(low elo)
ReplyDeleteYeah Panth falls late game but i like him, you can do amazing things with the ulti or a great epic fail :).
ReplyDeleteI will check Eve, I never consider her and actually some of my friend are playing Eve very well thanks a lot
Wtf, he spoke about lucian O_o
ReplyDeleteLucian needs a lot of mechanical skill to combo his skills and his passive. (and i'm not talking about q autoattack if you don't know what i mean check challenger players on him) If you are able to do that you have a really strong lane but he still gets outscaled by jinx or other adc's. Tier 2 means hes balanced and if the player can play lucian he's not weak but It's just way easier to carry games with Jinx or Ashe right now.
ReplyDeleteLol i think most people want him to stay down b/c of all the Urbaddies
ReplyDeleteWho's with me on the heavy AD J4 toplane?
ReplyDeleteThats what i said man in minigun you dont have this super range so your point there is moot either you have he spd or the range not both. Also 15 min in perfect CS is about 150 you have IE but not the rest unless your opponent is incompetent. So you in no way whatsoever have that super high atk spd with the huge atk dmg at that point in the game
ReplyDeleteZilean needs a buff, he's pretty low in all possible roles for him. :( I don't even like him but that makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteI personally main Skarner and Irelia in the jungle. I have a higher win rate with Irelia but I enjoy playing Skarner significantly more.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. At first glance after his rework, I though he'd be great, but he doesn't feel nearly at game changing as other supports
ReplyDeleteI don't really think she needs buffs. She just isn't played to her full potential by the majority of players.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to guess its because he has a lot of burst damage and assassination potential that can easily destroy some of the squishier tops right now and shut them down before they get big, especially the God Tiers (Irelia, Wu, Hec, Riven). He's only Tier 1 though because he doesn't do as well versus tanks or anyone who can rush armor first.
ReplyDeleteI still stand by my comments in the past about keeping Skarner in high Tier 1. With the nerfs on Cinder, he can easily build Warrior to deal relevant early game damage. Follow up with Trinity or Gaunts, then build all defense and even though his damage will fall off late, he still peels extremely well, brings a mobile suppression to a team, and can throw down multiple stuns in any given prolonged team fight. Let's not ignore the fact that his lvl 3 ganks are also fairly strong with a heavy AOE slow, massive MS steroid, and passive stun. I've even been messing around with AP tank Skarner and his shield scaling with AP makes him nearly unkillable as long as it persists.
ReplyDeletePoint being- I think he has been flying under the radar for a long time.
stop ranking Wukong God (specially top!!!!), i think i got it that it is your favorite champ its ok dude. But be rational, its barely viable.
ReplyDeleteStrong waveclear, Mana with his w back, Burst with lichbane and echo and a global ult. This is soloque tierlist and people don't react to yellow pings. At least there is lesser communication in soloque.
ReplyDeletei failed hard XD
ReplyDeleteYou missed Karma support, i think the little buffs to her kit and Ardent Censer really help.
ReplyDeletei play skarner sometimes but just for fun,it looks like an inferior versione of hecarim jungle somehow:
ReplyDeleteHeca got a stronger ms boost
Heca got lot more damage, better sustain and better clears.
Heca got much better ganks and mid game scaling/snowballing
Skarner is arguably better than hecarim later in the game and i feel like he has got a niche as a late game tank thanks to mixed damage and suppression and strong synergy with iceborn gauntlet.
anyway since i haven't played skarner much those are my thoughts and i could be in error but for now the idea is of a weak early game jungler who requires to snowball in order to be relevant(once he snowball he rolls)
me too but he's just a revive bot with a slow/ms boost
ReplyDeleteisn't better to play him mid?
ReplyDeleteUnlike trynda or fiora you got no way to avoid damage so full ad is not really worth
she's pretty fine in her current state,as support she can 1v1 adc in every stage of the game if played well
ReplyDeletethe proble isn't wukong(his win rates are very high) but the players, everyone go 100% ad wukong in the top lane and loses miserably vs every matchups, wukong isn't really a lane bully, yanks can just outsustain him easily especially hecarim who outtrades him with qqqqqqqq.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to be an early game bully AD monster just go mid, jungle and top are better bruiser/offtank
I guess mechanics can be taken into place for Thresh but if so then he should be at least tier 1, I'm not only a JannaMain, I main support in general :D.
ReplyDeleteSona can simply poke and heal but when she pokes, it can be an engage for the current God supports such as Janna, Thresh, Blitzcrank etc which obviously leads into a death considering how squishy she is early levels. However, Janna can knock up and shield the ADC preventing damage and counter-engaging (out trading), that's a simple case of laning phase. 2vs2 level 6, all you have to do is not stay together to be double stunned by Sona. If the ADC is stunned E+Q or just R and that saves everyone. Or, you could ult them into a wall creating a small stun (if you didn't know) and not pushing them back that far. In teamfights, what I like to do to engage is simply leave Q in an area where the enemy team walks a lot then if they get knocked up ENGAGEEE, whereas Sona needs to ult (difference in value). Tanks can't engage on Janna so you can negate all of that CC and peel for the ADC ( I think she has the best peeling ability, right?)
Janna brings way more than you think. I can show you if we play but not now.
i can't believe no one can play gnar,my friend isn't a pro player by any means but with gnar he just blows,i remember him being 1/4 and still carried us with good ults.
ReplyDeleteReally people got no clue on how to play with gnar?
I'd like an explanation on why he's doing so poor,i know people don't follow his ultimate but he has got the tools for solocarry pretty well provided people don't go with the full tank lcs build which isn't good in low elo
Skarner works very well against any melee threats/ immobile champions, purely for his ult, many times I've gone up against the Silver elo devils (Zed, Katarina, Nasus, tryndamere, etc etc) and completely shut them down even from behind, 12/0 kata jumps in, I ult her gg. Hec needs a bit more precision than skarner he can interrupt these champs but nothing can beat a suppression when it comes to lockdown. It means he can become a monster peeler if one of these heavy dive champs get ahead.
ReplyDeleteSkarner's early is alright, with his shield can can easily clear one side of the jungle only using only 1 pot, his ganks are alright pre 6, a slow and a stun do just about allow skarner to blow flashes/get kills and his damage is pretty decent as well. Of course he is a potent ganker at lvl 6 with his ult.
I think what I prefer about Skarner over hecarim is the fact skarner has no "Core" item outside of sheen, Hec needs (or highly prefers at least) to have tri force, which is expensive and difficult to get on a junglers budget, Skarner can build sheen and then start building the cheaper tank items before he finishes whatever item he wants (most likely iceborn gauntlet). Also due to the fact that he q resets on aas, he has the lucian idea for Attk Speed=CDR meaning he can build items like Wit's End and Tri Force without having to worry about stats going to waste
This all mixed in with immobile champs becoming more popular again (Ashe, Jinx, Cassiopeia) means skarner has an easy time doing his job of being the anti carry tank, his large amount of item synergy makes he can fill multiple roles. With this tier list being about champs who can carry and how much effort you need to put in to them be effective I certainly think Skarner is very easy to learn but can have large impacts in doing so. (Its not huge but I'm currently 6-0 on skarner in ranked, even first picking him and still doing well).
This isn't to take away from Hec jungle, he can be a potent jungler but I feel Hec struggles if he gets behind unlike Skarner. I think if you're confident that you can snowball the early game Hec is better than skarner but if you feel like you may fall behind Skarner is a far safer and yet still high impact champ
Veigar's has a similar problem to Ryze, even if you buff his number's by small amounts he has huge potential to be overpowered and would be able to crush and ap champ with ease.
ReplyDeleteThis is alongside that Veigar is an immobile and very squishy mage who has a weak early game and whose main utility in bursting a target to death is limited to whenever his ult is up
Do you think Kayle is better top or mid?
ReplyDeleteshe needs passive.
ReplyDelete^Agreed. Since he's underplayed, there will likely be no tweaks or nerfs coming his way any time soon. Just how Hecarim was "freelo" when people first realized how strong he was in current meta a few patches ago, the same goes for Skarner right now (in my opinion). I just think he brings a good bit to the table as an off tank.
ReplyDeleteyep. They need to work with his Q to make it easier to land or something. I just don't think he's a good pick with at least 10 other supports that can outclass him
ReplyDeletethanks for the reply,i agree with the question of core items, skarner can build sheen and be alright while hecarim needs an expansive trinity force(i'm thinking about removing trinity from heca's build and go warrior+full tank,is much cheaper and gives me the same level of early game pressure.)
ReplyDeleteThe raises of immobile champs definitely helped skarner but hecarim loves to deal with them too.
Also better than heca late game, almost sure of that
Not agreeing at all with pre-6 ganks power, they are decent but that's all,the slow is a slow skillshot and his stun needs to ramp up while hecarim can charge you and deal a good chunk of burst damage,post-6 they become much more potent but for ganking purpose i still prefer heca's ult because it can follow through flashes and basically gives me an aoe cc which is better than suppression for the early stages of the game aswell as a gapclose.
Also i don't think that skarner is very good when behind, yeah he contribute more than heca but he's still a suppression bot so not really a threat like a behind sion for example,i definitely love to be a fed skarner rather than a suppression bot(which is still good)
i personally prefer heca because i'm confident about snowballing myself early game(ganking is pretty easy.)but for players who love to just be teamplayers or wait for being strong skarner is definitely better.
wukong isn't barely viable. He is easy to play If you build him right he has the potential to carry games with his damage. I wouldn't place him in god tier myself, because he has a lot of weaknesses that balance out his strengths, however his win rate is very high (especially in mid) so that has to be taken into consideration.
ReplyDeletejehovah xDDDDD
ReplyDeleteI feel like Ekko is pretty balanced and in a good spot. Just played against him top as riven and it wasn't too bad pretty even. I don't top much but I felt like Riven is stronger than him. In team fights CC destroyed him and made him pretty useless. I frequently escaped with a sliver of health while my team finished the job.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't alistar also grow a lot in ranking? Both coin (early game mana regen) and ardent censor fit well with his skill set
ReplyDeleteSSJ Thank you so much for your work :) ! It need to be shouted some times ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah, being the strongest support in the game (high elo) should give him some positions.
ReplyDeleteOf course, he can be unreliable but a good W-Q combo can win games, too. Low Tier 1 seems fine for me.
I think she does better against melee champs as it says in the note. Top obviously has more of those. She is very hard for someone like a riven, Darius or fiora to all in and a properly timed ult will leave them furious. Fun times all around in the top lane.
ReplyDeleteWell, to be fair, he has no sustain. Although he's got that stun, the shield is pretty much gone after one auto from the camp. You just buy yourself some free of damage period. He doesn't have any healing abilities either.
ReplyDeleteI love gnar and used to try to play him in soloq. The biggest problem I had was people not paying attention to my rage bar. Ex: I have just resplendent and am needed in mid where teams are squaring up for a 5v5. As soon as I get there J4 EQs in and ults the AD carry. By the time I am transforming J4 and our kat have died and I was just stuck there auto attacking and looking cute. This sort of thing happens a lot. See the problem?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about Tier 3, but then I saw Nasus, Karthus, GP, Leona there.
ReplyDeleteBTW, Leona is pretty strong IF you can get past your first (or 2) clear(s) safely. You build tanky, get 40% CDR (FH and Locket are your best choices providing 30) and you are an unkillable CC-bot.
I mean, what's apparently meta in the competitive scene right now is full AD J4, but I don't necessarily think that's best for general solo queue games.
ReplyDeleteHis presence in competitive play should indicate that situationally there're many opportunities to buy a ton of damage on Jarvan, but I think in most games the average player is better off instead getting one or two damage items followed by defensive items. That doesn't mean that there aren't situations where full AD might be better, it's just that usually you'll be better served by some defensive items.
I think Darius should be rated a bit higher. For Soloqueue, especially low-medium elo, he does a great job if played properly (i know in high elo he rarely sees play).
ReplyDeleteAs everyone knows, he shits on 80% of laners, if the opponent isn't a ton better at the game or his champ or both and even the other 20% (mostly ranged bullies like Kennen, Teemo or smthn) can be CRUSHED if they make one mistake. And you snowball just so insanely hard. For Soloqueue winning lane is really important and once you get some items e.g. Hydra, you can push like a mad man and end the whole thing.
I think his main downsides are:
1) Vulnerability to ganks:
Darius has no escape, just an unreliable MS-Buff (meh) and a single target slow. Then again, at lvl 6 and mostly also before, you absolutely have the capacity to 1v2 if you play it smart. And you can just get a ward or two (don't know, i am pretty used to playing champs with little escapes, so maybe this is why it's not so tough for me)
2) He falls off late game: This is not as true as many think. He is obviously no Nasus or Vladimir late, but..
You are rather tanky when you get some items and still deal high amounts of damage to squishies and bruisers alike. When I have a hyper carry in my team (like Jinx), who kinda knows what he's doing, I will go for a pretty peel-heavy build, when i see i can't finish the game before. I then build something like Randuins, maybe IBG, lots of CDR (BC, FH, SV) and such. And also, a good flash-grab-combo can always turn a game!
I could say a lot more on this topic, but the essence is;
Darius is just a pure SOLOQUEUE CHAMP, he is designed to wreck his lane and i think he is awesome in uncoordinated teams.
The ardent censor does not apply to his heal like Riot had said in the patch notes
ReplyDeleteGnar has a massive amount of potential as a champion, but he is definitely pretty hard to play. Gnar has a very powerful "gamechanger" type ultimate ability, and even bad players can land good ults, which I think is what you're experiencing with your friend.
ReplyDeleteThe difficulty in playing Gnar relies on managing your Rage so that you can initiate well, landing all of your CC, and kiting people properly as Mini Gnar. He's definitely one of the most challenging top-laners to play in the game.
On top of that, his extremely low stats as Mini Gnar really punish players who don't know how to use him well, and he's very vulnerable whenever his E is down.
While he's a very strong champ who is very viable at the moment, he's very difficult to play, which explains why the public does as poorly with him as they do.
My huge problem is his difficulty in getting onto the enemy team. He's great when people are next to him, but he has a hard time forcing people to stand on top of him and letting him do his job.
ReplyDeleteThis is especially important late-game. If the enemy team is just simply staying away from yours and poking you down in sieging scenarios, Darius can't do anything about it. Compare this to a top-laner like Maokai who has more robust initiation potential while still maintaining a huge, dominating presence in lane.
Darius also doesn't do very well in the current meta. While his damage is enough to deal with squishy targets for most of the game, tanks can shrug off a great deal of the damage he does and CC him very heavily, which keeps him away from the targets he needs to kill to be effective.
I think he definitely deserves his position near the top of Tier 2, but he's not strong enough to move up any further.
it does, it just doesn't affect minions
ReplyDeleteI really like Alistar, my main Support since season 3. He can pull off really cool stuff (many different variations of combos), is really safe in lane - you can peel extremely well and heal for a lot when you put some points in it and you won't ever die yourself with Ult... But somehow he feels a bit lack luster from time to time. His full engage is not as hard and damaging as Leona's, his picking potential isn't as reliable as Blitz' or Naut's and his peel is not as good Janna's. He might be the king of tankiness among supports, though.
ReplyDelete--> Jack of all trades-like support in my opinion, but sometimes missing something ;)
You're right on this one, for the most part. That's basically why he falls off late, his complete lack of mobility. Then again, it does not really harm his peeling potential, the grab, slow and just pure damage are a nightmare for flanking assassins or engaging bruisers.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, being forced to dive their carries can be a tricky situation, i hate facing a fed Vayne/Nami combo when i am the only one doing damage on my team :D
But in these scenarios i prefer to splitpush - when i am fed, i can easily kill 2 people at once, while my team takes objectives. Maybe i should add that i mostly duoQ with a mid/adc main, who does his part well.
Last point, my positive attitude might also be, that i did my first S5-Ranked-Penta with Darius this time :D
Rito plz give cow super minion buff. Ardent Censor/ZZ'rot Portal/Banner of Command/Ohmwrecker super splitpushing cow ploz
ReplyDeleteik, that would be so fun haha, Cowpocalips, the army of Alistar
ReplyDeleteAny Thoughts on Syndra?
ReplyDeletegood for counter jungle, best jungle champ NA
ReplyDeleteon a more serious note there are better picks but i have been one shot by her so idk i guess she is decent
I don't get how tanks can deny rengar from blowing up a target. The thing about rengar is that he kills extremely quickly (basically instantly if you do the combo correctly). Also, in low elo where the adc and adc are always out of position, it becomes even easier for reng to win a teamfight before it even starts. Also, the jungle item on rengar is too good to pass up with the armor pen and cdr
ReplyDeleteHis stun is too hard to hit for low elo players
ReplyDeleteThey fear the crab... and rightly so...
ReplyDeleteSucks in this meta :(
ReplyDeleteIMO there is no way for xerath being tier 1, he got outclass by other mages with similar role like, Ap kogmaw, Corki and Viktor.
ReplyDeletechampion.gg
ReplyDeleteIts not too much that they stop rengar but in the current patch they offer more than rengar do, rengars main job is to kill their carry and then try to take as many as he can down with him, if rengar only kills their adc the fight is still equal as the current tanks can take a huge amount of punishment and dish out their own as well (see gragas). Tanks also deny rengar from multi killing as well, they can't stop a one shot but they can stop rengar when he's got no cds and bagging another kill, making the margin of error very tight.
ReplyDeleteAlso warrior enchant is good, but rengar synergises higher with hydra, more burst potential, aoe damage and sustain are all things rengar loves and he can grab the stats from warrior with a youmuu's which will also provide a better active as well.
I'm not saying that jungle rengar is horrible l, far from it, but rengar benefits more from the top lane at the moment, like my previous statement hydra is extremely core on rengar, moreso than warrior or brutalizer, which top lane allows him to rush rather than having to go through the jungle item first, he gets more gold to snowball off top lane and many of the matchups are better top lane now.
I just said his play rate is higher than Sejuani as well...
ReplyDeleteShe is really good against melee champs with bad early game (or champs she can kite) so she can abuse that and then scale to late game, you will find more of this kind of matchups in the toplane than de midlane. (Maokai, Hecarim?, Nasus,Mundo)
ReplyDeletewhat do you think about yasuo
ReplyDeleteXerath is definitely Tier 1 in my eyes, and better than all of the champions you listed (for carrying solo queue games during this patch).
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't poke as well as Kog'Maw, but he's much, much stronger during the early- and mid-game. Same deal with Corki; doesn't poke as well, but compensates with significantly better burst damage and more options than just poking, which is basically all AP Corki mid does, other than have an escape.
Xerath has stronger poke and stronger laning overall than Viktor. Xerath is also much stronger offensively because of his W and E; Viktor can only CC and create advantages with his W (and his R with certain team compositions), which is delayed and only really useful as a result in either skirmishes or counterengages.
In regards to where I'd place AP Kog'Maw, AP (assuming the use of the standard competitive build here, which is a Trinity Force into Luden's Echo and/or Liandry's Torment) Corki mid, and Viktor:
AP Kog'Maw is fine where he is (upper end of Tier 2)
AP Corki is probably low Tier 2
Viktor is fine where he is (mid-low Tier 2)
-
So then, you may ask, why is Xerath seeing no competitive play while AP Kog'Maw, AP Corki mid, and Viktor are? AP Kog'Maw is perhaps the ultimate champion (though Ziggs is also a competitor) in regards to pure poke potential, and his %-health damage on his W is very strong against full tanks, which are dominant in competitive play (solo queue players tend to build more damage, which makes them less vulnerable to %-health). AP Corki mid also provides a lot of poke, and with so many heavy-CC initiators in competitive play (it's not uncommon to see Maokai, Rek'Sai, and Nautilus on a single team) his escape is valued extremely highly. Viktor is incredibly strong in counterengages and jungle skirmishes, which are potentially the predominant combat scenarios in competitive play, which explains why he is so common. His W does incredibly well at stopping enemy champions from reaching your backline, while still able to provide some offensive contribution in a counterengage with his E and R.
Also note that Xerath has been present in this meta as well, he's just fallen out over the last few months because of the rising dominance of full tanks (which are on their way back down, meaning that Xerath's relative strength is increasing). We'll probably see less AP Kog'Maw and AP Corki mid over time as well.
Leona's not the best at peeling, but still good at it. She can totally get onto an assassin/diving bruiser/whatever very easily with her E, and between that and her Q, which is guaranteed out of her E practically, she already can CC someone long enough for her ADC to react appropriately. Her R is also fine defensively.
ReplyDeleteShe's outclassed by Thresh, Braum, Alistar, etc... in peeling overall, but she's still fine at it. No one should ever feel comfortable diving with a Leona around.
I have a question concerning Janna: does her shield AD affect spells after they've been launched? Let's say Lucian ults, if I shield give him will he make more damage?
ReplyDeleteAfter playing Jayce in the rotation I think I may start saving up with him. Is he good right now? Is it worth it to buy him?
ReplyDeleteJayce is fairly average at the moment.
ReplyDeleteIf you're good with him, you'll do well with him. If not, you'll lose more games than not. Expect to spend a while becoming proficient with Jayce before you regularly win games as him.
A new cool list idea I would like to see is "top 10 champions upon release"...just to see who was the absolute strongest champion when it first went live, or who was truly op when released
ReplyDeleteI don't have an exact answer to this question, but I'll try and answer it to the best of my ability.
ReplyDeleteTo my knowledge, once a spell has already been cast, such as Ziggs R, its damage and cooldown won't be modified by any stats gained in the interim between cast and spell "contact".
Lucian's R, to my knowledge, counts as a single cast, and would not receive additional damage from a Janna E.
The best way to be sure, though, would be to go test it yourself.
There's a bit of subjectivity there; would it refer to how strong the champion was in the eyes of the players (Graves had a ~70% winrate around release, if I remember right [I wasn't there for it]) or how strong the champion actually was (Lee Sin wasn't considered that good when he came out, but over time as players improved at him he slowly became considered better and better; he has mostly been nerfed over time, meaning that release Lee Sin, while not perceived as such, was incredibly powerful)?
ReplyDeleteI agree there is subjectivity... That is why I can't answer it myself. I really just want to hear SSJ's take on it...
ReplyDeleteI like the Lee Sin example, the idea to look at a champion now and compare it to release, how nerfed/buffed they are in comparison.
Really? Just take off smart cast if you wanna be exact and pop a w behind the enemy, run in a bit if you're too far away then pop your e-dash. If they flash over the w or walk straight into it its a win. If they walk around it it still slows the down enough for you to be in range of your q if you are decently far away.
ReplyDeleteIf you're in mid, the w is almost as big as the lane so they will either have to be careful in walking around it or go all the way around. If so then you will probably pick up a kill because you do good damage+mid laner's damage+cc. If not you have forced them out of lane for a good bit and they will lose out on cs.
That is my own theory though from seeing the skills, i'm too poor to actually buy him and test for myself :(
Highest win rate ever if i remember right was Release leblanc. They had to hotfix her like 10 hours after she came because of how op she was.
ReplyDeleteGet level 3 or 4 in champ mastery with him. Then go ahead and play him in ranked. But trust me...level 3 or 4 before you start him in ranked.
ReplyDeleteThrowback to the days when leblanc had a silence and could kill you without you being able to anything
ReplyDeleteIt works with auto atacks, i dunno about skills
ReplyDeletewheres is corki mid?
ReplyDeleteAnnie is easier and might do it better
ReplyDeleteEven when they don't do well, their team still has a good chance of a
ReplyDeletecomeback victory by utilizing one or more aspects of their late game
utility. (copy pasted from the tier 1 description)
I have an off topic question
ReplyDeleteDoes void staff affects on hit damage? I mean, i imagine it does on lich bane procs, for example. But the mastery that gives you bonus magic damage each AA is benefited by void staff?
Maybe a stupid and not that useful question, but i was thinkin about that other day
All champs that I've tried too. I look at them again. Thank you :)
ReplyDeletePretty sure the %-MR reduction given by Void Staff will apply to all magic damage you do.
ReplyDeleteShould I buy Veigar?
ReplyDeletei saw sejuani god tier and i stopped reading ... seriously, the 2 consecutive nerfs, she used to be a tank able to hit for over 800 damage thank to the 12% of max hp bonus with her W, now her W went down to 8% with a ridiculous rate in the early levels. she basically starts to be useful at 6 only due to her ult and become decent around lvl 10-11 ... in korea, the game is already over if the opposite jungler is a leesin or a shako. it should be end of tier 1 and yet only if the other team is retarded and/ or european enough to play so passively...
ReplyDeleteHmm... If you stopped reading, you probably missed SSJ's explanation:
ReplyDeleteSejuani [God Tier Jungle] - Since Sejuani's nerf hasn't gone through yet, it's hard to tell how much of an impact it'll have on her overall strength. At the moment however, she's being placed as #1 more of a result of moving Nunu down.
Also, proper grammar and spelling may serve to create more effective arguments in the future than what you presented in that comment.
Look, this is a League or Legends forum, not a forum for yiu to display your hate against Europeans, so please, stfu
ReplyDeleteThink personally that Hecarim would fit you best, because like most Poppy & Jax builds you have to rush a TriForce. So you will know when you hit a power spike in comparison to your lane opponent.
ReplyDeleteIrelia is IMO a bit harder because of her "weak" early to mid game.
Renekton and Darius are just early game very game, but take a bit more practice because it's hard to say what's your damage output exactly.
I'm used to "weak" early game champs as you can see with my use of Poppy and Jax. I will definitely look into maybe Irelia too.
ReplyDeleteWhile her knock back and stun gives her an insanely good kill presence in lane, and during early skirmishes/tf's I do think she tends to fall off because of all the tanks.
ReplyDeleteMost AP mages would most likely buy a Zhonya which pretty much negates her Ulti. Only targets are hopefully the squishy support or the ADC....good luck getting there ;)
I do think she can snowball extremely hard and can help you win a game early. Also the way she can pickoff people is like an Annie/Zed/Ahri/Ekko...you're gone before you can do a singe thing.
"in korea" is not an argument, stop being some stuck-up korean elitist
ReplyDeleteyou competetive scene may be a little better than NA or EU, but that doesn't make every korean soloQ player better than a EU or NA player with the same rank
i legit cant imagine her with a silence and echo, hmm ill just silence you for 2 secs and kill you without taking any damage
ReplyDeletemaybe you should pay attention to what kind of list this is.. It is meant for players in bronze and up to gold. That means, these aren't the best of players that this is meant for. Also, it is solo queue so it is not likely the other team will coordinate well enough to make her useless... "in korea" - best comment btw
ReplyDeletesame with azir, when he first came out people thought he was terrible (even though he did have a lot of bugs ) but when people learned how to use him everyone realized how broken azir actually is. And i must say he still is extremely op
ReplyDeleteWhat I mean is: once leona commits she unloads everything at a "target" - if -say- a katerina/zed is not killed by this she can almost freely unload her ult at any time. Alistar on the other hand has low enough cooldowns (and cdr items scale much more easy in his build thanks to ult giving a lot of tankiness) to actually keep disrupting.
ReplyDeletebeen having ton of success with the croc renek lately.
ReplyDeleteand olaf.
i only abuse nasus if i want to make people suffer.
ekko has quite the strong early, im surprised
ReplyDeleteI want to buy a toplaner, thinking about Shyvana, Olaf and Pantheon.
ReplyDeleteI don't know which one is stronger right now. what do you guys think?
he's one of the best duelers of the game,no tanks poses a threat for him he can just ult the adc and blow him, also an aoe atk spd buff is pretty strong.
ReplyDeleteEarly game doesn't matter as long as your teamisn't feeding hard because after that he becomes a nightmare for the enemy team since his scalings are incredible
all of them aren't in their best days, shyvana is very weak, olaf is too situational while pantheon is decent.
ReplyDeleteFor shyvana is better to wait her buffs to come live since right now is probably one of the weakest champions(cinderhulk nerfs gutted her)
Olaf is "win lane lose game" kind of champion,he could snowball pretty hard but really olaf carrying a game is just because the other team is stupid enough to not peel and late game he falls down vs other tanks like sejuani or maokai
Pantheon is like olaf but better because he has got mid game oneshot potential and can roam well with ult but late game he's pretty weak too.
If you enjoy those champions go ahead and play them, fun should be the priority i just gave you a boring performance analysis but if you like those champions buy them.
if you are looking for better champions gives a look to the god tier and tier 1 top lane
ekko is borderline op if not completely op but there isn't enough data for say that
ReplyDeleteKarma got buffed as a support, I don't understand why she didn't move up
ReplyDeletesomeone gets 2 nerfs=trash
ReplyDeletewtf 0.o
because mid lane is actually better,do you prefer a 700 ap karma or a barely 150 ap karma?
ReplyDeleteit should works on EVERY magic damage you deal, even thornmail and sunfire should benefit from it
ReplyDeleteOf course mid lane Karma is better, but support Karma is still decent and is certainly better than Lulu support, as the buffs buffed her utility so she can be useful even without a lot of ap. She has strong poke early, her shield when used with mantra shields for insane amounts and can disengage and her root late game lasts 3.25 seconds which is an eternity...
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm surely glad you finally buffed Akali in your rating (took you some time, eh?), I'm surprised by the weight you attribute to the very miniscule shortening of her 'target-piercing' distance on R. As stated, Akali is my main, and I have an extremely hard time feeling any radical difference between 5.9 and 5.10 versions of R. But well, as long as you are happy, I guess... :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, the following passage made me curious: "This combined with the fact that more and more melee champions are returning to top lane means that she can proc some early Q debuffs that she normally wouldn't against most ranged champions." 'Q debuffs'? Akali? Are you sure we are on the same page here? :)
True, let us wait for more evidence. However, I main Gangplank, and with trinity force I played vs an Ekko recently: I parrrrrleyed him, aa, ignite, and ulted; he did something that is unclear to me, and ulted back into my ulti while ignited. He escaped nearly full health, while I died. Now, I am not familiar with him, and not experienced either. But Gp is the crit nemesis of "squishy" targets, what is saw is very close to being op in my opinion. Plus, his kit is too complete: I would like it to see him as a "jack of all trades, master of nothing" champion, rather than as a "master of all trades, full stop".
ReplyDeletenot really too much changed those days, now you have got 1 sec to retaliate XD
ReplyDeleteoh my god yesterday i saw a video talking exatctly about the 10 strongest champions upon release:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-D0tMQjiFY
I was referring to the stun/shield. I ran trailblazer and basically stun locked the big camps long enough to kill them without taking much, if any, damage.
ReplyDeleteDont agree on Heca being weak late game. If you build decent MS, when TF starts he can easily reach squishy adc or ap and burst them down or away from TF. Also, he is ulti coupled with his W is an amazing initiator with high chance of survivability.
ReplyDeleteI am looking for a new AP mid, I usually play Swain, Viktor, Malz but I would like something new that could complement these guys. I dont really like Ahri, someone has a good suggestion? I am thinking about to try new Karma mid...
ReplyDeleteTryndamere is one of the best champions on Solo! Almost no one can go X1 on late game against him. I've made several triple and double kills from MID to LATE with TRYNDA ! I wonder why they don't give much importance to this champ...
ReplyDeleteAlistar's Q is on a 13 second cooldown at max rank (every cooldown here is assumed to be at max rank), and his W is on a 10 second cooldown.
ReplyDeleteLeona's Q is on a 7 second cooldown, and her E is on a 9 second cooldown.
I'd argue that Leona does similarly well with CDR items.
That's true, but I think in Azir's case those bugs made him significantly weaker than he was after they were fixed. January/February was kind of his peak, if I remember right.
ReplyDeleteI don't have Skarner but I try many time Irelia jungler in the past season. I don't feel "safe" to pick her but honestly I never try in the current season, I will (maybe first with a normal :P).
