How to Kill Dragon While Taking Zero Damage

Just a little while ago Phreak mentioned on his stream how it might be possible to kill dragon without taking any damage. A short time later, Jeremy aka "GamingCurios" uploaded this super interesting YouTube video showing how it's done.

EDIT: While this guy may sound similar to Phreak, he clearly is not as you can tell by the way he says "damage" instead of "tons of damage".


Although personally I see it as somewhat anti-fun since it takes a lot of the danger out of doing dragon, the fact that Phreak is aware it insinuates that if they don't remove the ability to do this soon, it's probably going to stick around for a while.

  1. Interesting. I think the main issue is probably Dragon's ranged attack. It won't chase someone while they're still in the pit, so it just keeps turning around and around. You can't kite blue/red buff quite the same way (at least, as easily) because they move to attack the closest target.



    Make Dragon's attack melee as possible fix? Or change how its aggro works. Either way, I hope it gets changed before this becomes too meta. It does seem pretty easy to take an early Dragon so long as bot/mid can't react fast enough.

    Hi Mike, that's a good point. I think that depending on how well you animation cancel it only takes a little longer than usual though, plus if you get ganked you're still at full health.

    Hi N, I think the fix would be to increase Dragon's attack speed and decrease the base damage. I think that if they make it melee then they'd have to increase its base movement speed by a decent chunk since he's a little slow and clunky atm.

  5. I dont like it at all, hope riot fixes it. Taking an objective like baron or drake should leave the team taking them a bit wounded, so that the team that walks in on them has the upper hand.
