Why Sivir's Buffs are Game-Changing + Best Sivir Skins

What can you bring to the field summoner?'

It's been a while since the Sivir buffs have made her a viable champion pick. How viable is she though? Personally I'd say she's now one of the top 3 AD Champions along with Graves and a debatable 3rd choice.

Let's take a look at her kit:

Passive: Sivir's basic attacks against enemy champions grant her 50 Movement Speed for 2 seconds.

• Free movement speed gives her not only extreme kiting ability, but excellent chasing ability. This means that from level 1, you're always overextended against Sivir unless you outrange her like Cait.

Q (Boomerang Blade): Sivir hurls her crossblade like a boomerang, dealing 80/125/170/215/260 (+75% of ability power) and (+110% of Bonus Attack Damage) physical Damage to the first unit and 20% reduced damage to each subsequent target.

• This move is deceptively powerful, especially if you can hit an opponent twice with it (once on the throw and once on the return) and not hit anything else on the way there during the laning phase.
• During team battles, it's also very powerful since you can still attack while the projectile is in flight.
• Since it scales with both AP and AD, it makes Trinity Force a viable item to build on her, but the scaling isn't high enough to make her hero that needs to be hybrid.

W (Ricochet): Sivir's next basic attack will bounce to (5) additional targets, dealing (20/35/50/65/80) (+100% of attack damage) to the first target and (25)% less damage with each bounce (only the first hit procs item effects)

• This skill basically gives you an extra auto-attack proc and some bonus damage when you want it, and combined with her Q and her passive gives her early game killing power in lane, even if she has a Soraka as support.
• This means you can proc an on-hit effect twice in a row using a regular auto attack and then popping her W to reset her attack and attacking again.

E (Spell Shield): Creates a magical barrier which blocks a single enemy ability used on Sivir. Lasts up to 3 seconds. If an ability is blocked by the shield, Sivir regains 150 mana.

• This ability is a big game-changer in my opinion. It's 100% effective against Caitlyn, since all her abilities are too slow to outshoot the reflexes of most players, and her traps on the ground simply end up as mana batteries against Sivir.
• This is also very effective against Taric/Sona harassing lanes
• Against Vayne and Graves it's a little more risky to bait their skills since they come out so fast, but it's definitely do-able.
• Its late game benefits are obvious, a free banshee's that only turns on when you want it to is an amazing asset.

R (On The Hunt): Grants Sivir and nearby allies 25% movement speed and 30 / 45 / 60% attack speed (half for allies) for 15 seconds.

• This ultimate is extremely powerful, since it's pretty much a free shurelya's reverie (slightly weaker)
• It also means that past level 6, you are ALWAYS overextended against a Sivir if you're trying to farm against her.

CONCLUSION: Sivir always had an awesome defensive mechanism and game-changing ultimate. Now that her damage is up to par with other AD carries and her nuke scales better, she's more bursty than ever before. Her new passive also makes her impossible to escape from.

It seems to me that since she has no hard CC, she might be built more as a tanky DPS in the future by rushing Trinity Force, but at the moment her burst allows her to fit right into the current AD carry metagame. Her AOE/creep clearing abilities are only second to Graves, and her chasing ability is comparable to Vayne's.

A hero that combines Graves/Vayne's best traits? I'd say that's OP.
