Archive post, December 2012. Nothing this post points you at still exists. Riot's own forums shut down long ago, so there's no ARAM board left to go and read, and the map went with them: the Howling Abyss replaced the Proving Grounds in patch 3.6, and every ARAM since has been played on that bridge. The mode itself came out of it fine. ARAM is a permanent queue you pick straight from the lobby now, so nobody has to organise one by hand and hope the lobby holds together.
If you're a fan of the ARAM Proving grounds like I am, there's a brand spankin' new forum available on the NA servers to discuss ARAM!
For some reason the forum isn't available on any other servers as of this post yet, but hopefully y'all will pick up your own versions soon.
Meanwhile, this new development bodes well for those of you still waiting on ARAM queues with dodge penalties!
EUW maps are lonely...:(
