Black Cleaver NOT Getting Hotfixed, Only Nerfed Next Patch

Despite the extremely overpowered status of Black Cleaver at the moment, it will NOT be getting hotfixed, but instead Riot will be waiting until next patch before nerfing it.

Its current PBE stats are as follows:

Black Cleaver
  • Armor Penetration changed to Unique
  • Armor Penetration reduced to 10 from 15
  • Passive effect now reduces armor by 6.25% per stack down from 7.5%

RiotNome: "Hotfixes are usually reserved for game-breaking bugs, not balance issues. The BC nerfs will be in the next patch, which is coming soon TM" - source

Sounds like those of you enjoying your Talon, Riven, Pantheon, Renekton, Wukong, Darius, Zed, Kha'zix destruction in solo queue can enjoy it a little longer!

    Good, because this weapon isn't insanely broken. Itemize health, armor pen and damage all on the same item. Great plan.
