Trolling or True Meta-Breaking Geniuses?

Once in a while you run across some obnoxious bot lane duo that somehow ends up working and absolutely dumpstering the enemy bot lane. It looks awful on paper, but then after the 5th or 6th death you start thinking maybe they're onto something.

What kind of ridiculous combos can they come up with? Check out our top 10 below!

Jinx + Ahri

Classically known as the ol' charm-chompers, Ahri's charm leading into Jinx chompers is enough to provide enough time to 100 to 0 pretty much any bot lane in the game. This combo works especially well because of Jinx's long range and extremely early game crowd-control.

Karthus + Cassiopeia

This combination is the bane of bot laners everywhere. They're used to dodging skillshots, but not so good at avoiding the constant hot foot from these two. Better yet, most players bot lane never run magic resist, making them sitting ducks for the constant barrage of spells.

Vayne + Anivia

One of the best voice-channel enabled combinations, you can pull off some insane combos with this duo. If you pick someone off with the legendary Vayne E + Flash to re-position into an Anivia wall that's placed sometime in between the two spells, that's a viral video for sure.

Tahm Kench + Zilean

If you've ever had trouble hitting Zilean bombs then here's a neat little trick: just toss the bomb onto an enemy minion, have Tahm Kench devour and then spit it out right onto the enemies. Of course, if you actually landed your bombs on them it would be much easier, but this is guaranteed damage. Late game, the two of them combined will make it nearly impossible for the enemy team to successfully kill anyone.

Jhin + Swain

Picking Jhin and Swain support gives you the power to snipe and snare enemies from incredibly far away. In lane, it’s also quite good for the same reasons, but up close and personal with the added benefit of their shorter range spells as well. This duo can also gank mid from near dragon pit, finally giving bot lane revenge on mid lane roamers.

Nautilus + Pyke

This combination works exactly as you’d expect. By locking down the enemy champions indefinitely, they can pound them into the ground at will. For single targets their combined crowd control is long enough to delete someone two or three times over.

Veigar + Vayne

Similar to the Anivia + Vayne comp, Veigar allows you to stun champions from anywhere of your choosing. It’s a bit slower than Anivia’s wall, but the area it covers is much larger. Condemning anyone into Veigar’s stun will treat enemies to a world if pain.

Jarvan IV + Pantheon

A classic kill lane bot, this duo is stronger than ever after Pantheon’s latest rework. In particular their level two power spike has been greatly amplified through Pantheon’s new passive. Meanwhile, their diving power is also greater than before with Pantheon's newly reworked E. If you're looking for some ADC slaying power, this duo has it.

Heimerdinger + Ziggs

This double Yordle lane specializes in speed clearing minion waves and shoving down turrets. Between the two of them, they can rip down all three lanes worth of platings before anyone else gets a single plating. Running double demolish on this lane will certainly help, but even without it these two can dish out heavy siege damage.

Sion + Jhin

Similar to Swain + Jhin, these two can engage from ranges that would otherwise look safe to enemy laners. As an added bonus for a bit more difficulty, Sion can knock a minion that's about to take a 2nd or 3rd bounce from Jhin's grenade into the enemy laner(s) and make them eat the fourth bounce instead for some crazy damage.

There you have it, ten incredibly odd bot lane combinations that against all odds, work surprisingly well!
