• This tier list details which champions are most popular in today's current metagame, for better or for worse. Selecting a high popularity champion and doing mediocre is always favorable to selecting a low tier champion and doing mediocre for team morale.

God Tier: These champions are common bans and are likely perceived as being "overall extremely strong/broken". They have very obvious and/or flashy skills that make them appear stronger than other champions. You'll likely see these champions picked early on if they're not banned.

Tier 1: These champions are the ones you'll see in the majority of your games and are good to familiarize yourself with as you'l be battling against them a lot.

Tier 2: These champions are relatively strong and have historically been picked more often than other champions. They may have been nerfed at one point at another, but are still perceived as strong in their current states.

Tier 3: These champions aren't quite as popular as the rest of the champions in the first 3 tiers, but picking them one at a time isn't going to cause much of a concern on your team. However, if you have a team of 5 of them your teammates are likely to feel a bit uneasy about your chances of winning in solo queue.

Tier 4: Selecting these champions will likely cause a rift between you and your teammates, who will proceed to flame you if you fail your lane. Exercise caution when selecting these champions, as team morale often plays a big part in victory or defeat.

Champion Explanations

• Annie [Mid Lane God] - Ever since the onset of the assassin meta, It seems like Annie is more and more sought after. With her exceedingly fast burst damage and stun, she has the burst of an assassin and the range of poke champion. Her early game bullying power is extremely high, and she trades well with two nukes and a passive stun.
• Fiora [Tier 2 Top] - After the rework, it looks like a strong resurgence of Fiora players cropped up. Despite most of them doing fairly poorly with her, the general consensus seems to be that she could potentially be good once mastered.
• Gangplank [Tier 1 Top] - Similar to Fiora, most players haven't been doing particularly well with GP. However, his kit is definitely much more flexible than before and offers some cool tricks that have popped up in highlight reels.
• Katarina [Tier 1 Mid] - Weaker after her nerfs, Katarina's fallen out of the spotlight when it comes to powerful assassins mid. 
• Lee Sin [Jungle God] - With the massive influx of devourer farm junglers, Lee Sin is back and better than ever before. With his ability to gank extremely early in the game, he no longer has to worry about counter gankers lying in wait. He also has a very powerful early game, which allows him to invade on many early game junglers.
• Rengar [Tier 1 Jungle] - Similar to Lee Sin, Rengar has powerful invading abilities early game. Although he has weaker early ganks compared to Lee, he also scales much harder into late game if he can snowball.
• Soraka [Tier 1 Support] - Healing supports are back in style in solo queue, especially with champions like Vayne becoming ever more popular again.
• Teemo [Tier 3 Top] - The general consensus seems to be that the Teemo changes were an overall nerf. Despite not seeing too much play time in ranked regardless, he's pretty much holding steady.
• Vayne [AD God] - In the natural cycle of things, every since the tank meta came and went, Vayne's stayed on top after people started to remember how fun she was to play. Looks like she's here to stay.
