What Riot has said

The teaser went up on K/DA's X account on October 14 with the caption "Do we have your attention?", and the League of Legends account reposted it. The video itself landed on the evening of October 18 Pacific time, which was already the morning of October 19 in Korea.

The video's description gives the EP date and credits Fortiche for the animation, the same studio that made Arcane. Six writers are on the song. (Sebastien Najand, who co-produced it, has a writing credit on MORE as well.)

Riot and Louis Vuitton also put out Tempo Point the same week, a travel book that follows Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai'Sa through one day in a made-up city. The $68 standard edition is sold in Louis Vuitton stores and online, and a collector's edition is limited to 400 copies.

Who sings in K/DA now

Miyeon and Soyeon are back as Ahri and Akali. Evelynn and Kai'Sa have new voices: Sophie Powers takes over Evelynn from Madison Beer, and Mimi Webb takes Kai'Sa from Jaira Burns. Seraphine, who joined for MORE in 2020, isn't credited on FIRESTARTER.

Soyeon's had a busy October. She's Akali on Know My Name too, the Worlds 2026 anthem from True Damage, which also came back this fall. We covered that in True Damage Is Back: Know My Name and Every True Damage Skin, and HEARTSTEEL's return is in HEARTSTEEL Is Back.

What's only leaked so far

None of this comes from Riot. It's here because it's what people are searching for, and each line says where it came from.

The rest of the EP. Leakers list four songs: FIRESTARTER, WATCH ME, NEVER GOING BACK and GIRLS. WATCH ME is the title that turned up in the ASCAP registry in August with K/DA named as the performer. Riot hasn't published a track list, and the EP's own pre-save page only names the title song.

New skins. Leakers say a Firestarter skin line is coming for Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai'Sa, going live on November 4, and most reports put Ahri's at Ultimate tier. November 4 is when Patch 26.22 is scheduled, so its test cycle, which opens once 26.21 ships on October 21, is where the skins would show up first. The video does put all four in new red and black outfits. Riot hasn't called them skins, though, and none are on the test server yet. Our PBE tracker reads the game files directly and lists new skins the moment they land.

Every K/DA song so far

POP/STARS premiered at the Worlds 2018 opening ceremony on November 3, 2018, and the skins went live the same day. THE BADDEST came out on August 27, 2020, and MORE on October 28, 2020, ahead of the ALL OUT EP, which also carries DRUM GO DUM, VILLAIN and I'LL SHOW YOU. FIRESTARTER is the first new K/DA song in six years. The older ones each have a page in our League of Legends music library: POP/STARS, THE BADDEST, MORE, DRUM GO DUM, VILLAIN and I'LL SHOW YOU.
