I played alongside a crazy duo earlier this week, and they ran the most outrageous strategy I've seen in a long time. I had to share it.
It's Draven bot and a Nunu jungle who barely touches his camps. The Nunu rolls into bot lane at level 1 and then never really leaves. (Draven, as you'd expect, is thrilled about this.)

The Draven and Nunu Duo
Bot Lane, All GameI played alongside a crazy duo earlier this week, and they ran the most outrageous strategy I've seen in a long time. I had to share it.
It's Draven bot and a Nunu jungle who barely touches his camps. The Nunu rolls into bot lane at level 1 and then never really leaves. (Draven, as you'd expect, is thrilled about this.)
The plan
Draven, who wants kills more than anyone on the map.
Nunu, skipping most of his camps.
Straight through the lane at the enemy bot duo.
Laps around bot lane, over and over.
Want to watch it? The summoner name's in the Nerfplz Discord. Details at the bottom.
What it looks like from the other side
Minions haven't met yet and there's already a snowball rolling straight up the lane at you. Nunu takes Biggest Snowball Ever! [W] first instead of clearing a buff. The enemy bot lane is in a three-on-two fight before either of them has bought anything (their own jungler's still busy with his first camp).
Then it keeps happening. Nunu doesn't go back to farm after the first gank. He just rolls circles around bot lane. You can see him on the map pretty much the whole time, and it doesn't help, because you can't tell which side he's coming in from next. Backing off to your tower doesn't save you either. He kept diving the enemy bot lane under their own tower.
In my game the enemy support spammed pings at their jungler for help. He came. He died too, and that was one more kill for the Draven.
Draven's job is to be standing there when the snowball lands. His passive gives him extra gold for every kill, and a fed Draven ends games by himself.
What it costs them
A Nunu who skips his camps falls behind on levels and gold. Top and mid play the early game without a jungler, and the enemy jungler has the rest of the map to himself.
So the duo bets everything on bot lane. If Draven gets ahead, it works. If he doesn't, top and mid gave up their jungler for nothing.
How to beat it
Don't send your jungler in to bail out bot lane. Walking into a lane that's already behind just feeds the Draven.
I went back through the replays of the games they lost, and they all look the same. The enemy jungler power farmed, stayed away from bot and picked up the levels the Nunu skipped. When he finally came down to bot lane he had a massive level advantage over everyone there, and the enemy mid roamed down with him. The duo's three-on-two turned into a four-on-three, and they lost it.
Play a jungler who farms and stay off bot lane until you're well ahead on levels. Then bring your mid down with you.
Has anyone done this before?
I went looking for where they got it. A level 1 snowball gank shows up in older Nunu guides as a cheese opener for one early kill, and then Nunu goes back to his camps. Nobody I could find writes about this exact duo, or about a Nunu who stays bot for the whole early game. Seen it somewhere? Tell me in Discord.
Watch the replay
I'm not printing his name here. Join the Nerfplz Discord and ping me in #general-discussion if you want the summoner name and you can watch the replay yourself. It's INSANE.
