Kill Them Twice
Tired of watching your kills go to waste? This team composition turns every takedown into a bigger, scarier version of itself. Pick one off and the rest of the team gets stronger.
Check out how to play it below!
Champions
Bot Lane – Senna
Senna's soul-collecting passive means every death near her, ally or enemy, permanently grows her damage, attack speed, and range. Pair that with an ultimate that heals your whole team through walls while zapping enemies, and she becomes less a marksman and more a battery for everyone else's resets.
Mid Lane – Locke
The Ashen Exorcist finishes what this team starts. Ritual Nails stack Soul Nails onto marked targets, and Purgatory yanks anyone low enough straight out of the fight for good. He doesn't reset cooldowns like the rest of this comp, but he closes out the kills that fuel everyone else's.
Support – Pyke
Pyke's ultimate refunds its own cooldown on a takedown, so a good Death from Below doesn't end the killing spree. It reloads it. Combine that with his passive handing bonus gold to whoever lands the actual kill, and Pyke turns every execute into fuel for the rest of the team.
Jungle – Viego
Nothing sums up “resetting” quite like literally becoming your kill. Viego's passive lets him possess a takedown for a burst of healing and a fresh body to fight with, chaining pick after pick without ever really dying.
Top Lane – Bel'Veth
An unconventional lane pick, but Bel'Veth's Void Surge dash refreshes off a takedown, letting her chain dashes across a fight the same way Viego chains bodies. She's a stretch in a 1v1 lane, but once teamfights start, she never really stops moving.
Key Concepts
- This comp lives and dies by the first pick. Land one kill and Viego, Bel'Veth, Senna, and Pyke all compound off it. Go even instead and it falls apart fast.
- Bel'Veth top is a flex pick, not a standard lane. Expect a rough laning phase and play for scaling rather than an early lead.
- Prioritize picking off overextended or isolated targets rather than forcing a straight 5v5. This comp wants skirmishes, not stand-still teamfights.
Countering
Countering this team means denying the first kill entirely. Bring peel, disengage, and enough tankiness that no single takedown can snowball into three more.
Here is an example team that may succeed:
Mid – Orianna
Ball zones out divers and shields the carry, hard to just dive through.
Jungle – Sejuani
Reliable engage/peel with CC chains that lock down Viego or Bel'Veth before they can reset off anyone.
Top – Ornn
High health pool that's hard to execute, and buffs the whole team's survivability.
Support – Lulu
Polymorph and shields directly counter Pyke's hook and Locke's burst, keeps the ADC alive.
Marksman – Vayne
Self-peel via Condemn and tumble punishes overextension instead of feeding it.
