The Nunu rework you've all been waiting for is finally here! Instructions and Caveats:
  • This tier list details which champions are most popular in today's current metagame, for better or for worse. Selecting a high popularity champion and doing mediocre is always favorable to selecting a low tier champion and doing mediocre for team morale.

Champion Explanations

  • Camille [Tier 1 Jungle] - Nowadays, with Fiora back in top lane as a power pick, more players are pushing Camille over to the jungle instead of top lane. At the moment, her playability in both roles is approximately the same. Meanwhile, Camille's jungle prowress is quite good, and now that players are getting used to what angles she can stun from, they're taking advantage of this and have increased her ganking power.
  • Fiddlesticks [Tier 2 Support] - After a few nerfs, Fiddlesticks is no longer the same happy-fun-time support he used to be. While that's not to say he can't be extremely effective, but most players are opting out for more traditional go-to picks.
  • Fiora [Tier 1 Top] - The latest buffs on Fiora's E damage gives her the ability to snowball harder top lane. When you couple that with a set of Garen nerfs, she's definitely coming back into the fold as a powerful pick.
  • Irelia [Tier 1 Mid] - I really thought Irelia mid would have fallen off by now as a somewhat unorthodox pick. However, her playstyle feels very smilar to Yasuo, and thus players have continued to enjoy her kill and roam potential as a mid-laner. That's not to say she's not good or better as a top laner, but Irelia mid has certainly found a home.
  • Kai'Sa [God Tier Marksman] - After a brief stint with Jhin at the top of the throne, players are starting to fear Kai'Sa's incredible snowball ability and self-peel much more than a few Jhin players who can't aim their ultimate. Nowadays, it's Kai'Sa everyone's banning and watching out for and picking Jhin as a staple play.
  • Kassadin [Tier 1 Mid] - The latest round of buffs were quite kind to Kassadin, giving him some extreme mobility earlier in the mid-game. Although he's still limited by his mana, good Kassadin players are abusing his spiked mobility to their advantage.
  • Nunu & Willump [Tier 1 Jungle] - As you'd expect from a champion rework, Nunu is currently one of the most played and banned junglers right now. However, the general consensus seems to be that they're okay, but may need a few buffs to really get going.
  • Riven [Tier 1 Top] - Ever since bruisers completely took over top lane, it's been odd that Riven hasn't been thrown into the mix. Generally speaking, she does quite well 1v1, but needs to find a clean opening during team fights unless she goes a slightly more tanky build. The current meta is slowly starting to favor early game cheesing again, which is giving Riven some new life.
