SEASON 3 - NAMI/"BLACK CLEAVER" PATCH SOLO QUEUE TIER LIST
This new patch has a monstrous amount of new changes regarding items, the jungle, and masteries. However, the biggest change by far is the new Black Cleaver, which is completely unbalancing the game all by its lonesome self. Other notable changes are Sightstone and the Oracle nerf.

Tier 2: Xin Zhao, Riven, Pantheon, Wukong, Nami, Dr. Mundo, Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, Rengar, Shaco, Nunu, Evelynn, Ahri, Singed, Cassiopeia, Orianna, Lux, Kennen, Irelia, Nautilus, Vladamir, Jayce, Olaf, Alistar, Renekton, Mordekaiser, Soraka, Leona, Janna, Lulu, Fiddlesticks, Galio, Kayle, Vayne, Maokai, Anivia, Jarvan IV, Tristana

Tier 3: Sivir, Draven, Ashe, Shyvana, Gangplank, Warwick, Yorick, Syndra, Sion, Kassadin, Fizz, Swain, Udyr, Annie, Brand, Viktor, Veigar, Varus, Urgot, Malzahar, Xerath,  Akali, Zilean, Kog'Maw, Twitch

  • Champions in BOLD I will talk about shortly
  • Champions in Italics may be over/undervalued, but aren't/haven't played enough for me to make a better judgement.
Nami Patch Updates
  • Talon: Talon is absolutely broken OP right now with the current state of black cleaver. His burst combo is enough to destroy multiple champions by himself and is basically free elo at this point.
  • Nocturne: Similar to Talon, the current state of BC makes him absurdly powerful.
  • Darius: He's always been extremely powerful, but the new items and mastery changes have made him even more so.
  • Nidalee/Teemo: This patch has a ton of goodness for these two, but I think the most important part is the fact that Sightstone makes it easier than ever for them to keep up a sustained split push safely, which is an EXTREMELY consistent strategy for solo queue. The oracle nerf also helped their cause as well.
  • Skarner: After the nerf on his ultimate Skarner wasn't the overpowered beast he was before; but with the new jungle items and changes, he's stronger than ever before.
  • Xin Zhao: Absolutely devestating right now with black cleaver...
  • Riven: Extremely strong top lane right now, she has very few bad matchups and many favorable ones.
  • Nami: So far she seems like she's got amazing utility. The only thing holding her back right now is the difficulty of landing her CC early game, but it's devestating when it hits.
  • Caitlyn/Miss Fortune: The new arpen changes and BC make their harassing ability extremely powerful, allowing them to snowball harder early and mid game to make up for their slightly weaker late-game.
  • Shaco: New jungle aggro system has made his jungle extremely easy with box tanking. Beware.
  • Ashe: With the mastery changes and new items, there are a LOT of anti-slow abilities, which makes her not nearly the utility monster she was before.
  • Rammus: Boots nerfs, low damage, things aren't going well for our turtle friend...ok?

  3. Mantheon laughs at not being ahead of talon. He does everything talon does mid, but better.

Mantheon's stronger early game, but Talon's much safer to 1v5 their team with, has a stronger AOE, invisibility, and gets a double stack of Black Cleaver with his poke vs a single stack.

  5. I still think jungle Rammus is great as long as you have good team mates to coordinate ganks. Especially with the overabundance of wards now. Rammus is one the few champs its hard to get away from even if you see him comming.

Extremely mobile, good poke + burst, and is great with his damage reduction against most burst mages. His attack speed decrease on his Q is also really solid.

  10. Leona t2 while taric T1? WTH , leona is tankier, leona has aoe cc, has damage buff that goes well with burst dmg, really weird bmo, i dont say taric is bad but he's just hmm... less noticable late game when you need more cc and tankiness than dmg

Taric is much safer, if you stun someone, you can choose whether or not to go all-in on, Leona's very easy to bait everyone into a bad teamfight, since when she goes in...well, she goes IN.
