Triple Vampiric Scepter Nasus

Drain You I Shall.

So last week on State of the League, Scarra mentioned that Stanley0506 and his friend A8000 were the original creators of the infamous "Triple Revolver Vlad" and "4 GP5 + T-force Jarvan" tactics that were so cheesy that Riot made Revolver's and all the gold item passives unique.

In a more contemporary period, Scarra let slip that these two Taiwanese innovators were on the verge of developing yet another cheesy tactic: The Triple Vamp Scepter Nasus. I guess the build isn't perfected yet, since neither of them have been playing it in ranked.

On the other hand, it could also be Scarra's attempt at name-dropping to troll the entire League of Legends community, but putting all this aside, here's how it theoretically works:

Nasus Passive Lifesteal:
Level 1: 14%
Level 6: 17%
Level 11: 20%

Greater Quintessence of Vampirism 2% Lifesteal x3

Vampiric Scepter: 12% Lifesteal

Stark's Fervor: 20% Lifesteal

This means that at level 1, Nasus will have a grand total of 32% lifesteal with the offensive Vampirism mastery (3%).

Meanwhile, with 2 Scepters and one built into Starks, at level 11 Nasus will have 73% lifesteal. Since his Siphoning Strike is an on-hit effect, 73% of that damage will heal him.

As for what to build after getting these items, it seems like herein lies the hard part. Trinity Force or some defensive items would probably be best, but until someone figures out the most broken way to abuse this, this build is pretty troll. As Doublelift said, this build will put you 1350 gold behind since you're getting 3 Vamp Scepters, which could have been used to buy a Sheen instead.

On the other hand, I could definitely see this strategy as being very broken and anti-fun (for your enemies) since Nasus naturally gets very strong offensively just by last hitting with his Q. If this build catches on, we'll likely see another "Unique Passive" label attached to Vampiric Scepter as well.

  2. Versed a Nasus with three vamp scepters and a phantom dancer. Turret dived three of us, was fun. Not.

  3. That's a pretty interesting way to build there, I could definitely see the extra movespeed and crit be really helpful to keep up and autoattack. However, for the price I can't help but feel that grabbing Phage + Zeal would be a better buy at that point to build into T-force.

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple ipad and tested to see if it can survive
a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.

My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views.
I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with
    someone!
