How to get around long login que times - afk games

Archive post, September 2011. This trick belongs to a launcher that doesn't exist any more. Riot retired the legacy client and replaced it with the one you use today, and the long login queues that made sitting in an empty custom lobby worth the trouble belong to the same stretch of the game. None of it transfers to the current client, so read it as a snapshot of what logging in looked like in 2011 rather than as advice.

Be Sneaky...like a Ninja!

If you've noticed, sometimes you have huge wait times to get into the server and if you happen to get logged out for inactivity, you have to go through that wait time again. Well there's a simple way around that, just open up and create a custom game, and as long as you're in the room, you'll never be logged out for inactivity, only if Riot resets the server or there's real server downtime.
