Nobody on this team needs to catch you twice. One knock up starts a chain of crowd control that only stops when somebody dies.
This team comp focuses on champions whose crowd control feeds directly into the next person's. Rell drags a group into one spot, Xin Zhao and K'Sante rip whoever tries to leave back out of it, Hwei seals off the escape routes, and Zeri spends the whole window firing into targets that can't move.

Champions
TOP
Top Lane – K'Sante
K'Sante decides who the fight actually happens to. All Out [R] launches one enemy through a wall and drags him after them, which turns a 5v5 into a 4v4 plus an execution. Before that, Ntofo Strikes [Q] pulls stragglers back in and Path Maker [W] stuns anyone trying to walk past him.
JNG
Jungle – Xin Zhao
Xin Zhao answers the question every dive comp has to answer: who follows the engage. Audacious Charge [E] closes the gap instantly, Three Talon Strike [Q] adds a knock up on top of whatever Rell already landed, and Crescent Guard [R] throws everyone else out of the circle so the target dies alone.
MID
Mid Lane – Hwei
Hwei carries a full second spellbook of crowd control in Subject: Torment [E], so he fears, roots, or shoves whoever the front line missed. Spiraling Despair [R] then plants a growing slow field right on top of the pile, and enemies stuck inside it eat his damage kit for the rest of the fight.
ADC
Bot Lane – Zeri
Zeri turns held targets into free damage. Lightning Crash [R] refreshes and ramps every time she hits a champion, and a team full of stuns keeps handing her champions to hit. Spark Surge [E] also lets her grind over the walls K'Sante just threw somebody through.
SUP
Support – Rell
Rell writes the opening line. Crash Down knocks up everyone she lands on, Shattering Strike [Q] stuns through shields, and Magnet Storm [R] keeps dragging the whole enemy team back toward the middle. She gathers the targets, and the other four spend them.
Key Concepts
- Rell opens, everyone else answers. Magnet Storm [R] is the only ability here that gathers a group, so K'Sante and Xin Zhao should hold their ultimates until she has already pulled the enemy team into one spot.
- K'Sante's All Out [R] is a pick tool, not an engage tool. Send the enemy carry through a wall and away from their support instead of using it on the first tank you see.
- Zeri needs the fight to keep going. Every champion she hits refreshes her ultimate, so this comp wants long, messy fights around objectives rather than quick trades in a side lane.
- Three of these five rank among the hardest champions in the game to play well. Practice K'Sante, Hwei, and Zeri before you draft this into a ranked game.
Countering
Beating this comp means breaking the chain before it starts. Ground the dashes, split the group apart so Rell only catches one person, and keep a way to reset your position after the first engage lands.
Here's an example team that may succeed:
TOP
Top – Poppy
Steadfast Presence [W] stops dashes outright, which shuts down K'Sante's Footwork [E], Xin Zhao's charge, and half of what this comp does to reach the backline.
JNG
Jungle – Gragas
Explosive Cask [R] scatters the exact clump Rell spent her ultimate building, and Body Slam [E] gives him a way out once the fight goes badly.
MID
Mid – Anivia
Crystallize [W] cuts the engage in half and leaves the divers stranded, and her egg buys the team a free extra second of peel.
ADC
Marksman – Sivir
Spell Shield [E] eats Rell's stun or Hwei's root, and On The Hunt [R] lets the whole team walk away from a fight this comp desperately wants to keep going.
SUP
Support – Janna
Monsoon [R] throws the entire dive back out and heals through the damage they landed on the way in, which is the cleanest single answer to this comp in the game.
