Here's where everything lives now: the theme switch, the four header menus, the search box, and the Riot Dev Tracker.
The short version
- Dark mode: the sun icon at the top right of the header. Your choice sticks until you switch it back.
- Four menus: Tier Lists, Weekly Series, Patch Info and More.
- Search: the box in the header covers every post on the site.
- Quick Links: four banners down the left of every page.
- This Week on NerfPlz: the homepage strip marks whichever series lands today.
- The Riot Dev Tracker: still here, still refreshing every fifteen minutes.
Dark mode
Click the sun icon at the top right of the header and the lights go out. It stays that way on every page you open afterward, so you set it once and forget about it. Your phone and your desktop each keep their own setting.
Everything comes with it. The tier list tables, the patch notes pages, the Counter Series and the archive going back to 2011 all repaint, and so does the comment section. If you land on a page that still looks wrong with the lights off, leave a comment on it and it gets fixed.
Where everything lives now
The four menus
Four menus sit next to the logo. Hover one on a desktop, tap it on a phone, and it drops open.
- Tier Lists: the Solo Queue Tier List, the changelog behind it, the ban list and Strongest When Mastered.
- Weekly Series: Team Comp Tuesdays, Weird Pick Wednesdays, Top 10 Thursdays and FOTM Fridays, plus the Counter Series and Formerly OP.
- Patch Info: patch notes history, the Riot Dev Tracker and the Red Post Roundups.
- More: about, the posting schedule, advanced mechanics, the terms glossary, wallpapers, the site map, the Patron hall of fame and the privacy policy.
Search
The box on the right of the header searches the whole site. Type a champion's name and you'll get everything we've written about them, this week's guides and the ones from ten years ago alike.
Quick Links
Four banners run down the left of every page: the Solo Queue Tier List, Best Champion Bans, the Riot Dev Tracker and the Counter Series. Those are the four pages people open the most, so they're one click away from wherever you are. On a phone they sit at the top of the homepage as a 2x2 grid.
This Week on NerfPlz
The strip across the top of the homepage lays the week out in order, Tuesday through Friday, and rings today's tile in gold with that day's post title under it. It's a desktop feature. On a phone the Quick Links take that spot instead.
On your phone
The menu button next to the theme switch opens all four groups as a single list, so anything on the site is two taps away.
The Riot Dev Tracker, in case you missed it
Riot's own Red Tracker died with the Boards in 2020. Ours is the page that took its place, and it's the one to leave open in a tab.
It collects what Riot developers say on Reddit, on X and on Riot's own site, newest first, and it refreshes every fifteen minutes. Notable pins the statements that actually matter that day, so you can read the top of the page and be caught up. Filter by game and by topic, or search the whole tracked archive by champion, Rioter, patch or bug.
It's under Patch Info in the header, and it's the third banner in Quick Links. Once a week the Red Post Roundup turns all of it into a read: what got said, what it means, and what changed because of it.
Catch what Riot says as they say it
The roundup is the weekly read. The tracker is the one you leave open.
