Camille · Vi · Syndra · Veigar · Nautilus

You don't fight this team. You get jumped by it.

If you have ever wanted to bully one specific person in an inhouse until they rage quit, this is the comp built to do exactly that. Nautilus's ultimate, Vi's ultimate, Camille's ultimate, Syndra's stun combo, and Veigar's cage all lock onto and trap one specific enemy instead of an area. Pick your target in champ select, chain every cooldown onto them, and let Veigar's execute close the account.

Champions

Camille TOP

Top Lane – Camille

Hookshot closes distance from a wall away, and The Hextech Ultimatum traps a single target inside a zone alongside her entire team, physically removing the option to retreat. Adaptive Defenses keeps her alive long enough to hold that zone open until Veigar, Syndra, and Nautilus finish the job.
Vi JNG

Jungle – Vi

Vault Breaker dashes into a single target and stuns anyone caught at the end of it, and Cease and Desist, her ultimate, drags her across the map to knock up one champion and everyone standing near them. Vi decides who this team fights before the fight even starts, and once she commits, that target rarely gets to walk away.
Syndra MID

Mid Lane – Syndra

Dark Sphere gathers into a stun the moment Force of Will lands, and that combo alone deletes most squishies who get caught out of position. Unleashed Power then finishes whoever survives the initial burst, letting Syndra close out a target the rest of the team already committed to.
Veigar ADC

Bot Lane – Veigar

Baleful Strike stacks bonus ability power on every last hit, so Veigar spends the laning phase quietly turning himself into the biggest source of magic damage on the team. Event Horizon cages a single target in place the instant Nautilus or Vi commits, and Primordial Burst deals more damage the lower that target's health drops, turning any pick into a guaranteed kill instead of a chase. He does not need to out-damage a marksman over a full fight. He needs one second alone with a locked-down target. He also happens to be a perfect fit for the current mage bot lane meta, so nobody in champ select even has to ask why he is down there.
Nautilus SUP

Support – Nautilus

Dredge Line hooks a single enemy from a screen away, and the root on his next hit catches that same champion again, so a Nautilus engage almost always locks down exactly one person for several seconds. Depth Charge, his ultimate, tracks that target across the map with a knockup and a slow, guaranteeing the pile-on lands even if the first hook gets dodged.

Key Concepts

  • This comp does not want five-versus-five fights. It wants to pick the one person you have decided to make miserable this game and dump every cooldown onto them before their team can react.
  • Nautilus, Vi, and Camille all have ultimates that specifically select and lock down one target rather than hitting an area, so shot-calling stays simple: whoever gets picked by any of those three is the victim everyone else piles onto.
  • Veigar's execute scales off the target's missing health percentage, so once the target is locked down, commit fully instead of trading evenly. A half-finished dive just wastes everyone's cooldowns and lets them live to complain about it in all chat.

Countering

Countering this team means protecting whoever it decides to hunt. Bring shields, disengage, and enough peel to break a chain of crowd control before Veigar's execute threshold turns a lockdown into a kill.

Here is an example team that may succeed:

Ornn TOP

Top – Ornn

Bellows Breath and Living Forge let Ornn hold a frontline all game without leaving his team exposed, and Call of the Forge God stuns anyone who tries to walk through the wall he creates. He blocks the path in before Vi or Camille can reach the target they picked.
Zac JNG

Jungle – Zac

Elastic Slingshot lets Zac fling himself into a fight from absurd range the moment a teammate gets isolated, arriving as an extra body to soak the exact burst this comp is trying to land on one person.
Karma MID

Mid – Karma

Inspire drops a shield and a speed boost on whoever this comp just locked down, buying enough time to walk out of Veigar's cage or Camille's zone before the execute threshold gets reached.
Kog'Maw ADC

Marksman – Kog'Maw

Living Artillery and Void Ooze let Kog'Maw deal real damage from a range this comp cannot easily close, so he never has to be the isolated target in the first place. And even if he does get picked off anyway, Icathian Surprise still detonates on the way down, so at least you have your passive.
Braum SUP

Support – Braum

Unbreakable blocks the first projectile aimed at a locked-down ally, and Stand Behind Me gives them a shield and a burst of speed the instant a hook or cage lands, directly denying the pile-on this comp depends on.
