Introduction

Hi everyone, we're back tonight with another top team comp. This week's team composition capitalizes tonight on a dive composition specifically composed of manly men! As it goes, you'll all have to forgive Jarvan for not sporting a beard as he needs to maintain his his princely formalities.

In case you're wondering, yes, Mordekaiser and Pantheon are both wearing very manly facial hair under their helmets and look something like this:

Champions

Mordekaiser [ADC] - One of the strongest "AD carries" on the rift at the moment, Mordekaiser is naturally hyper tanky. By quickly drawing on his level advantage and his all-powerful 3rd Q proc, Morde can quickly snowball against nearly any lane. This combined with Braum's powerful CC allows them to chain devastating combos, especially once they hit level 6.

Pantheon [Mid] - An extremely strong roamer and a nearly unstoppable lane bully, Pantheon is also an excellent diver. With the amount of CC this team provides, he can easily catch enough of them in his ultimate to deal massive amounts of damage. This combined with his targeted CC means they can make quick work of the AD carry for Mordekaiser to capture her with his ultimate.

Braum [Support] - With his excellent diving and chasing power, Braum is an excellent selection for this composition. This combined with his super manly physique and facial hair makes him a perfect fit for this composition. As a relic shield user, he also provides himself and Morde an insane amount of stacked heal, enough to cover the majority of ranged poke.

Gragas [Jungler] - Not quite the jungler he used to be, Gragas is still extremely good at diving, soaking damage, and isolating puny AD carries. On the off chance this team is losing, he also provides the only peel this team has...not that a team this manly needs the bro peel.

Jarvan IV [Top Laner] - As a champion that provides extra diving power and wave pushing strength, Jarvan synergizes extremely well with this composition as he can easily trap in enemy champions while they wait to be slammed by Pantheon ult.

Key Concepts

  • Ultimate synergy is very important, and try and have Mordekaiser stack up his last Q on a minion wave before initiating.
  • Build Black Cleaver early on Jarvan and/or Pantheon for maximum mid game power.
  • Don't drag out the game to late, as AD carries can still become very strong after farming.

Countering

Countering this team is mostly a matter of taking out the enemy team from a sissy range while also keeping your AD carry alive to kite through all the damage.

Here's an example team that may succeed:
  • Lux [Mid] - With her extremely long range and excellent CC, Lux can kite back enemy teams as well as poke them out before the battle begins.
  • Xin Zhao [Jungle] - As an early ganker, one way to take down a Mordekaiser lane is by hitting them hard at level 2 in a 3v2 fight while they're pushing to whittle down their ability to bully.
  • Gangplank [Top] - An excellent turtling champion and counter initiator, a simple Gangplank ult can quickly ruin any plans of diving.
  • Janna [Support] - As a champion who can block Jarvan's E->Q and Pantheon's W, she's an excellent support for peeling for your ADC.
  • Jinx [ADC] - With one of the strongest early games in the game, Jinx can easily keep up with the pushing abilities of Mordekaiser, and is also able to self peel up to three targets simultaneously.
