What is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that is not backed by a central bank or government. It's open source and runs on majority consensus. It's pretty cool.

How to Get Started

If you're in the US, registering for a Coinbase account is the fastest way to get started, but you'll likely want to get a hardware wallet once you get the ball rolling.

A good resource is the Bitcoin sticky FAQ on reddit, which will give you almost everything you need to know.
