Weird Picks #87: Tristana Jungle

Preseason is always an interesting time, and this round is no different. The latest craze that's sweeping the rift is Jungle Tristana, brought to you by Spirit from Korea. It's clearly working at a high level for some players, but I'm not entirely convinced yet...

Check out the details below and see how you feel about this Forest Yordle!

Weird Picks #86: Rakan Mid

Rakan's pretty much relegated to a support only status now, but we can't forget the attempts to put him in almost every single other lane other than marksman (that one's reserved for Xayah of course). However, there were some interesting builds that popped out while players were experimenting, namely Rakan mid. Some say there are players out there that still main it to this day...

Weird Picks/FOTM Report #85: Ezreal Jungle

Hey everyone and welcome back to another WPW/FOTM report combo! Things have been crazy lately but hopefully it's died down a bit and Nerfplz is about to ramp back up. This time around we've got something that you might have seen recently in your games and felt a bit trolled - Ezreal Jungle...

This one's actually popular though, unlike the also fun but unpopular Ezreal Support we talked about last time around. As a jungler, Ezreal is the currently sitting at the 5th most played jungler and is almost as popular as his ADC play rate. Guess that's what happens when Faker approves. Check out how to do it below!

Weird Picks #84: Mid Lane Vi

Vi mid is one of those picks that sweeps across the rift while she's particularly overpowered in the jungle to prevent the enemy team from playing it, but there are certianly some people who enjoy her in this role as die-hard Vi one-tricks.

Does it really work though? Check out the details below!

Weird Picks #83: Lethality Ezreal Support

Now I know what you're thinking, AP Ezreal support was bad enough, SSJ why you trying to shove another stupid Ezreal support build down our throats? But hear me out! So in its current state, Duskblade of Draktharr is incredibly strong, and works very well on poke/burst champions, but loses normally loses a lot of its effectiveness on sustained damage champions as a result of its passive.

This new way to play gives Ezreal support new life, giving you a powerful poke support with excellent map control as well.

Weird Picks #82: Cho'Gath Support

Ever since the release of Patch 7.14, Cho'gath's been on a tear, jumping up leaps and bounds as both a top laner and as a jungler. With a new heavy scaling revitalization of his old toolkit, maybe it's possibly time to look at him in another position as well...support...

Weird Picks #81: No/Late Sightstone Soraka Support

Lovingly described as the greediest Soraka build I've ever seen, this strategy was first popularized by a 600 LP Challenger Soraka one trick known as "Seb" on the NA server for his previous gamer tag before he changed it to a few strange characters.

This build is heavily reliant on NOT dying during the laning phase to make use of the incredible scaling offered by the runes and build, but definitely draws some serious ire if your team happens to be losing. Make sure to read through the below before attempting!

Weird Picks #80: Rek'Sai Top

When Rek'Sai was first released, she was burrowing all over the place. However, after she found her niche as a jungler, she quickly fell away from top lane, never to return except for some level 2 ganks. Meanwhile, as Riot nerfed her for her overpowering jungle in competitive play, she's fallen into the middle of the pack as a jungler.

Let's try her out in a different position and see how she fares!
