Weird Picks #78: Jungle Jax

Jungle Jax isn't exactly the weirdest of picks. He's not AP Nasus Mid or ADC Kennen by any means, but yet he's still tragically underplayed right now considering how powerful he is and how similar he plays to popular junglers like Kha'Zix, Rengar, and to some extent, Graves.

Read on to find out how to unlock this master duelist's potential...

Weird Picks #77: Burst Mode Ezreal Mid

Ezreal is one of those champions that is extremely fun to play, and also scales off both ability power and attack damage for high flexibility in his build path. The guide below allows him to 100 to 0 most champions in the game, and can be extremely fun if played well.

It's a bit unreliable, but the combo power is absurd. Check out the full guide below!

Weird Picks #76: Syndra Support

Syndra support started gaining popularity recently ever since she dropped out of favor mid lane compared to lethality-based casters. She also works well against Malzahar, which is a benefit that few other supports can brag about.

All-in-all, she works somewhat like an Annie support, and excels in low cooldown multi-target stuns and single target champion deletion. Check out the details below!

Weird Picks #75: Season 7 AP Sion Mid

Ever since Sion's rework into a crowd control monster with massive initiation potential, AP Sion largely fell off the face of the earth and hasn't been seen in quite some time. However, earlier this month I had an opportunity to play with a Sion one-trick player, Schmanthony, and although I was skeptical, it does seem to work (if impractical).

Let's take a look into how the new AP Sion plays out:

Weird Picks #74: Windspeaker Lee Sin Support

So I was watching my friends play some ranked the other day, where oddly enough, they were matched up against a D4 Lee Sin support (screenshot of games). I know what you're thinking and my thoughts were the same.

This guy got to D4 with Windspeaker Lee support? Why am I so BAD?!

Anyway, I can't really tell how good his win rate with Lee support by itself is since he also jungles Lee Sin sporting a cumulative 52% win rate rate. Meanwhile, whenever he plays Lee as a support, it looks like he's always paired with a Yasuo ADC. Again, wtf am I doing wrong right?

Regardless, since it does work I figured I'd pick a low hanging fruit this week for WPW and have a little chat about it.

Weird Picks #73: Malzahar Support

Support Malzahar is one of those things that in theory, was always possible as a result of his powerful ultimate. However, it wasn't until recently that he started gaining notoriety in the lane dominance meta. By pushing his lane early, the level 2 power spike advantage far exceeds any potential creeps he might steal along the way.

As a result of this and more, high division players (especially in Korea) are pouncing on this champion as a fun and powerful support pick.

Weird Picks #72: Rammus Mid

With Riven, Yasuo, and Zed mains all over Summoner's Rift, going up against full AD teams is not uncommon. Playing against a good Yasuo mid can also be extremely annoying for the majority of mages. However, for a Rammus it's trivial, and although your team may question your sanity at champion select, they'll change their toon once you start running down the enemy team 1v5 behind two turrets and mauling them.

Weird Picks #71: Tank Annie (Mid)

Here's an interesting build I've seen a few times on the rift with surprisingly high effectiveness. This is generally the build taken by players who play for KDA, and try and get the highest possible (which mostly involves not dying). Check out the build below!
