Weird Picks #80: Rek'Sai Top

When Rek'Sai was first released, she was burrowing all over the place. However, after she found her niche as a jungler, she quickly fell away from top lane, never to return except for some level 2 ganks. Meanwhile, as Riot nerfed her for her overpowering jungle in competitive play, she's fallen into the middle of the pack as a jungler.

Let's try her out in a different position and see how she fares!

FOTM Ranked Solo Queue Tier List (High Elo) ~ Patch 7.8 - May

Rakan and Xayah are making quite the showing in Patch 7.8 as two of the highest mobility champions released this year (which is certainly saying something). Meanwhile, the jungle meta is still largely dominated by damage-based burst champions with the sole exception of Ivern, who performs incredibly well despite being a little...different.

Weird Picks #79: AD Bard Top

Bard's never been much of a solo laner, but ever since the chime changes in Patch 7.7, players have started considering him as a potential mid to late game carry. His scaling is still very weak if he doesn't get enough charms, but the bonus damage he gets combined with his maximum meep increase allows him to deal much more damage than before.

Patch 7.6 is ramping up and the newly reworked Galio is certainly the star of the show. He's showing up in nearly every position and doing well in all of them, despite his relatively difficult skill set. Meanwhile, Graves and Lucian continue to be highly prized fighters in the Summoner's Rift arena for their powerful sustained damage and high mobility.

FOTM Report: Blade of the Ruined King + Black Cleaver Ashe

Traditionally played with Essence Reaver, Ashe in her current form is sporting the new and improved Blade of the Ruined King courtesy of the Korean meta. Although it doesn't proc five times on her Ranger's Focus [Q], it does synergize well with Hurricane and Black Cleaver to provide an extremely difficult to kill marksman.

Marksmen in 2017? Bruiser-style. Check out the details below!

Weird Picks #78: Jungle Jax

Jungle Jax isn't exactly the weirdest of picks. He's not AP Nasus Mid or ADC Kennen by any means, but yet he's still tragically underplayed right now considering how powerful he is and how similar he plays to popular junglers like Kha'Zix, Rengar, and to some extent, Graves.

Which Champions are Strongest When Mastered? - March 2017

Hi everyone and welcome back to the latest edition of the Strongest Champions When Mastered series! I'd love to keep this one updated more often, but it really is the one that takes the longest, and the solo queue tier lists are much more popular. That being said, we've seen lethality come and go, but some champions still remain very powerful despite Riot's balancing.

Zed's back on top with the added Edge of Night bonus spellshield and his reworked ultimate, and top lane is starting to be much more of a win lane win game type of scenario.
