Top Team Comps #22: Chokepoint Comp

Chinese Dragonslayer Jarvan Skin
CHAMPIONS like the ones found in the CC lock comp are generally banned since they're so easy to use and abuse. On the other hand, what if I told you that you could make a team composition with even STRONGER AOE potential with even MORE CCs than before?

A lineup stronger than one with Amumu and Malphite at the same time? How can this even be possible? Well check it out!
SUGGESTED LINEUP
Top: Jarvan IV
Mid: Lux
Jungle: Cho'Gath
AD Carry: Ezreal
Support: Leona
ADVANTAGES:
- Strong AOE damage
- Good CC
- Good synergy

DISADVANTAGES:
- Small AOEs
- Skillshot Relient

Viable alternatives to Lux include Orianna, Annie, and Cassiopeia
STRATEGY:
The strategy of this team is to catch the enemy team off-guard with CCs and completely annihilate them before they can react. This team comp is extremely effective with an oracle, and by camping any random bush in a chokepoint or warding for possible enemy encampments, this team has the ability to end a teambattle with a:

FLAWLESS VICTORY

The best way to bait an enemy late game is naturally by clearing the wards around the Baron area and then hiding in a bush near the pit. Here are two examples of prime locations where your team might arrange an ambush:

Fear my level 1 terror..

Many have died in this bush...

COUNTER-STRATEGY
As you can see from the pictures above, the most important thing to remember against a team comp like the one featured here is to never facecheck the bush, and to pick heroes that can check from a range, like Nidalee. Clairvoyance may also be a helpful summoner to have in this case, and some of the warding strategies featured in this article I wrote a while back may help you stay safe from the terrors of the unwarded bush.

If you absolutely MUST facecheck Baron or risk losing the game, I suggest you go from this direction, around the blue buff side rather than the side pictured in the screenshot in the strategy section. This bush is still very dangerous, but the reason I say choose this one is because it has a little more room to run in different directions, and it's further from the middle of the map and thus will take the enemy longer to set up in.

Well...I could probably use this flag to check too...

Either way, this team comp is a little easier to beat compared to the this one, but if Cho'gath starts getting big as he inevitably always does, they'll still be some pretty tough customers.
